VerifiedMPN: 219Can ghd max be used on fine hair or will it damage it ?
How do i chose between the v gold max and a v gold classic?? i am totally lost !! please help my hair's length just about reaches my shoulders so it is not very long but not very short either,, its very thick also ,,but i saw that the original gold has two censors where the max only has one and im afraid i wont be able to curl my hair so easily with the max but i dont wanna spent hours straitening my hair with the original if it could have taken me half the time with the max PLEASSSE HELP
Hmm good question, I’m not sure really.. I have never been able to curl my hair with a straightener one thing I really struggle with. Personally I think they would both work fine for straigtening thick hair. Can you go to a shop to try both maybe?
Hi maya, I use the ghd for curling my hair too which is super convenient. My hair is long and thin but I still don’t think it would take you too long to straighten. I think the flexibility or curl/straighten with the same appliance is the way to go :)
Hi Maya, The ghd Max styler is our only styler to feature wide (2 inch) plates. This can be particularly useful if you have either a lot of hair or hair that is particularly curly as it designed to make styling quicker and easier.
The ghd V gold was replaced in early 2018 by the ghd gold styler. The gold features our standard 1 inch plates and is our first styler to feature dual zone technology. This means that there is one heat sensor on each plate which helps to maintain a constant and even temperature as you style your hair.

Hi, i bought my ghd straighteners from my local hairdressers 10 months ago and they've become faulty. I looked on website to return and you need proof of receipt. Which I don't have due to not been given one. I went back to hairdressers and they said they don't give receipts when they sell them. Where do I stand?
