VerifiedWhat is the temperature range of the freezer (in degrees Celsius)? I have 'cold' and 'colder' and I need to store breast milk at -20°C/-18°C. Thank You!
After some advice unsure if my fridge /freezer has just had it's day and starting to die on me or if I am doing something wrong/ there is a trick to possibly fix this. Not very old at all and only today my freezer does not seem to be freezing lol icy poles are watery etc never have I had this before. Is there some knack I could try ?? Temperature control panel inside of freezer says cold-colder May sound silly but question is where abouts on this control panel should I set for best Freezing?? Thinking maybe had possibly been knocked from originally position
Why does the back of my Hisense fridge smell? And how can I fix it?
Hi same thing was happening with my fridge but I found the issue. Behind the bottom of the fridge there should be two screws. Switch your fridge off and remove the screws. There will be a water collector attached to these screws. No doubt your water collector will be filled with putrid mouldy water like mine was. Clean the collector with hospital grade cleaner and run some disinfectant with water down the tube that starts from the inside of the fridge. Problem solved! Hisense start including this in the manual, I thought I had a dead rodent in my house that I couldn’t find for weeks! My fridge is pristine inside but of course how could I know what was lurking behind the fridge. This is not listed as part of the maintenance in the manual.
This helped. Thank you!
Can I wash the shelves, fresh storage container etc in dishwasher ?
Hi , My fridge is 18 months old & when i open the door there is a metallic smell, i can only smell it when I open the door & it is spoiling foods not in containers & liquids as well, i have cleaned the fridge with Vanilla essence & whilst the fridge smells clean the metallic smell still spoils some foods, Does anyone have any advice pls
Based on that smell issue I would contact Hisense direct via customer care 1800 447 367. It should be investigated under warranty, possible leak.
Thank you very much

Hi sense RB338N4EW1 Bad smell since new. Thought it would go away. No luck. Any help?
My new fridge stinks really bad on the inside when you open the door it smells like there is rotten food but there is nothing rotten this smell has been there since we have turned it on from new 2 weeks ago
How cold should a Hisense HR6TFF350 be does not feel really cold?
Fridges should operate at 4-5 degrees Celsius.
Agree with Cara, 5c. No way was mine getting anywhere near that, around 9c. My new Kelvinator that I replaced it with does get down to 4c. And the Kelv freezes things really fast even down near minimum. The Hisense needed to be turned up full to achieve what this does down low.
I have a Hi sense stainless steel upright freezer.I wish to move it into the garage but as we are in the sub tropical and the garage is not insulated and the temperature gets to about 41 degrees for about 30 days during the summer months. Will this hurt the freezer or not? Garry
I am sorry but I don't think I can help you. I am not an expert on. Maybe try going through the manual for it and surely it will have some info about your concern.
Hi .If the height of the space for a fridge is 1790mm,will this fridge with a height of 1698mm be suitable? I understand that there should be space around the fridge for external circulation. Please clarify. Thank you.
clear area is only for rear and sides of fridge top dont matter
If I were to purchase that model can I pay only once it is delivered and able to fit into the space? Thanks
it depends... Some fridge alcoves are vented at the top - stick your head into the alcove and look up. If there is a good size gap at the back where hot air can escape, then it is vented and it won't need much overhead clearance.
If the only opening is the front, with no vent or duct at the back, then you should try to have more space above. The sizes you mention mean a top gap of just under 100mm. The fridge would work, but would use more energy than if it were better vented.
100mm is the minimum overhead gap shown in the instruction manual..

Not sure how handy you are, but if the alcove isn't vented and you really like the fridge, you could always fit a vent in the roof of the alcove - install a piece of rangehood vent up through the back of the overhead cupboard.
My fridge alcove is vented - the overhead cupboards have a false back on them, leaving an air duct of 100 mm deep x 600mm wide up behind the cupboard. No heat gets trapped around the fridge and it works beautifully, like a chimney.
All fridges need to release waste heat that has been removed from inside the fridge. Sticking them in a small unvented alcove makes them work hard, especially in hot weather.
We are having a problem with bad smell and the fridge doesn't seem to be very cold, despite lowering the temp control to colder. We have taken all the food out of the fridge and wiped down the insides and the shelves but the smell continues. Anyway else have a similar problem?
put vinegar in fridge to sbsorb smell also wipe down with vinegar
Me too! I have found the same problem! Tried everything and can't get the smell out.
Check the back of the fridge, they have a plastic drip tray, that might be your issue with the smell, you can google it if you are unsure :)
I have the same problem smell since new, had an engineer out he could not find the problem. Have cleaned it thoroughly with baking soda, tried halving lemons and leaving in fridge. I keep everything in containers. Tearing my hair out.
