I just use a wet cloth and then a dry cloth.

Hi. I have this fridge and I love it but the flavour of the ice is getting tainted with the odour from the contents of the fridge. This is not what I wanted nor I thought would happen. Are others having the same experience?

Hi, I am interested in buying this fridge. Just wanted to know how many days you can preserve meat/fish in the vacuum sealing compartment. Does it work as they advertise of 7 days? Thanks, Foisal

Hello, I am looking at purchasing the Hitachi RX730GAX 6 door fridge and would like some recent feedback on its performance and functionality. I am keen to hear how well the vegetable draw works, how long are your vegetables lasting and do you get condensation in this draw. My biggest concern with this fridge is the shelving as it doesn't feel as strong and sturdy as other brands. Can you put a heavy pot of food on any shelf in the fridge without fear of it breaking and lastly, how user friendly is the freezer? Your feedback would be greatly appreciated.

So happy with this fridge from day 1 - veggies stay fresh much longer than expected- not sure if shelves meet your requirements- nothing broken or bent in our fridge although I am careful with shelves - I often place heavy pots and balance accordingly - love the vacuum drawer— love the ice drawer

I've put a full slow cooker pot on the top shelf all the time. No issues with condensation. Ice draw is perfect.

I really like the design of the vegetable draw, it works really well for storing veggies and fruit, and they do last a while. I am happy with the result. I know what you mean about the shelves feeling that not so strong. I looked at this also when I was buying. I also felt the inside draws of the freezer and vegetable trays seemed a bit weak. However I have never had an issue and nothing has broken. I load up the draws and shelves as we only have one fridge and it takes it all. In terms of user friendliness of the freezer. I love it. It fits so much. The three draws work amazingly well. I can fit so much.
