I’m looking at buying a 1999 Honda CB600 Hornet with 89000kms on it for $2990 with 3months rego. Is this a good buy or not. I am a female recently separated so not too sure about bike specs and don’t want to buy something that won’t be reliable. This is only my second bike my first was a Yamaha V-Star 650.

Hi Michelle. These bikes are bullet proof, but 89,000km is a lot. It depends if the owners did all the services and how they rode it (commute, racing track?). I personally would look at a bike with lower Kms. Hope this helps.

I have a 2008 hornet and have a noise that seems to be resonating from the fuel tank. Is there a fuel filter or pump inside the tank which may need to be changed?
