I would contact Godfrey's. If you don't have any luck with them or Hoover. After buying a few different brands and not being really satisfied, I bought a Dyson and wouldn't have anything else now.

If you have a multi meter just test the terminals of the charger.

Get in touch with whoever you bought it from and if it's Harvey Norman and it's still in warranty they will change or you can have anything you want to the value.If it's more or less they will sort it for you. I'm going on recent problems I ad with an appliance Hope this helps Cheers Laurie

Hi David, There may be a few different issues, the bearings may need to be cleaned or are no longer working, or there may be an issue in the connections. Your can take the machine into your nearest Godfreys store to be booked in for further inspection. Regards, The Hoover Team

have spoken to Godfries, they don't stock anymore, absolute pain, hoover works great, just filter has had it

I would try Godfreys or direct from Hoover

Hi. Sorry to hear that you’re having trouble with it. We had very similar problems with the model you have. We took it back to Godfreys where we bought it while it was still under warranty. You would have to take it back to your seller .

Hoover replaced it with the “ Ultra Performance “ which has been ok.

If I remember properly Hoover stopped making the model you have.

Hope you have some success with yours.

Probably not. They have their day. I know I certainly got my $149 dollars worth over The 3 years I owned mine. I did the same as you and replaced the filters. It was better for a while. But soon sfterwards I replaced it with a Bosch Athlet which I love. It's more powerful by far. But I keptmy Freejet to use for crevices and window runners. :)

It's a little bit heavier than the freejet. But it is still able to be picked up and manoeuvred across country he's etc with one hand, which was an important criteria for me. I love this stick vac 7 months on. It's fantastic. i hope my answer helps.

We have had a couple of Hoover’s along with a Nilfisk.

Now we have a Bosh which is doing the job very well and also weighs around the same as the Freejet

We contacted Godfreys since we bought it there and were having the same problem as you are. Hoover replaced it. I suggest contacting the people you purchased it from and see where that goes first then chase it up with Hoover if you’re not satisfied with the dealer. Hope you have the receipt.

Thanks Lamar. Unfortunately it is out of warranty and the dealer doesn't want to know. I will try contacting Hoover

Check that the power buttons are turned off. I ran my flat one day and had not realised I had left the power button still pushed in. So when I went to charge it a similar thing happened to your description. It will not charge while one of the buttons is switched to the on position.

Remove them and give them a few firm taps against the side of something solid. that's what I do.

Sorry I can’t remember what this one is like as I don’t have it anymore.

Actually I don't know because when I have finished vacuuming, thats it for the day. I don't care how long it takes to charge- I stick it on its stand and it go for gold over night. Saving said thst. It's always had plenty of juice.
