Why don't the left earbuds operate?

They should Mark, sounds like you got a dud so your warranty ought to provide a new pair. If you get no joy, I still have mine and they still work perfectly, sure we could work something out if you live in Brisbane. Jeff.

Contacted JBL online chat. As I received them as a gift, the person giving them to me, if they still have the receipt, would have to claim the refund.

I will just stay away from JBL. Funny because I have a JBL partybox and Harman speakers in my car. Now know better.
