Hi not an answer but exactly the same problem. I would be happy to hear some DIY answer to this issue so hope that someone from the Jura company replies. My Jura ENA5 leaks during and after making what can only be described as a weak and barely warm unpleasant drink.
I finally was able to find the problem and was able to Fix it ! It’s Requires complete disassemble the Machine, Robber Seal !

So did you dismantle the machine and if so, how?
Yes I did dismantle it and was able to fix the problem with just a few gaskets changes!! And no more water leaking! I don’t think going into detail about it going to help ! You need tools !
How to make the coffee hotter ? Is it necessary to change the filter or is there somewhere to change the setting on the Ena 5?
Dear Tom K, Thank you for your question, we need to make sure the machine is programmed to high which is done on all products. you need to use a filter or to descale this is the life of your machine. Kind Regards Jura Australia

Hi, My Ena5 displays "press rotary switch" after I turned it on but when I press it, nothing happens and I can't fill the machine, turned off, unplugged and on again but it doesn't make a difference, suggestions?
Dear Ehab, Thank you for your question, sounds like an air blockage. Please remove the tank, remove filter(if one) and put hot water from the tap in the tank. Place the tank back onto the machine with the hot and no filter. Test a couple of times can take up to 30 times and this should resolve the issue. If you are still having trouble kindly call 1300 285 872 or email support2@au.jura.com Kind Regards JURA SUPPORT TEAM
My machine isn’t tamping the coffee correctly and when it's ejected into the bin is still very wet. Due to not tamping correctly the machine doesn’t switch off after going through it’s clean cycle. Thanks. J
My ENA Micro 5 no longer stops automatically when dispensing a shot to my setting; I have to stop it automatically. Frustrating. Any ideas? Thanks for your reply, Sharon
Ooops....just saw this question asked by Cdue and answered by you. Plz disregard my question and thank you!
Him I have a Jura ena 5 I have had the brew kit cleaned and the encoder replaced but I still get error 8, any help? Thanks
My ENA 5 power button does not turn the machine ON. However, disconnecting power cord from mains outlet, then plugging it in, turns the machine ON, but only for a second or so. During that short ON period the display says Heating; no error code.
After removing side panels, confirmed that logic board fuse is OK, as would be expected since the machine does power on momentarily.
I’m looking for guidance on which parts may need replacement, or more likely, what needs resetting and how to do it. I looked for a reset button on the logic board and the heating boiler unit, but do not see anything obvious.
I have never had this trouble with my machine Perhaps you may contact Jura directly Usually they ask the machine to be shifted to Melbourne for service and minimum charge over 200 dollars
How could I unblock left hand spout of my ena 5 coffee machine?
Please refer review from jvdv1, he/she cleaned the spout inside out.
Hi, my ena micro 5 is not auto stopping after a shot is being made. I have to manually stop it as the water turns blonde. I have gone through the cleaning and descaling process and it is still not automatically stopping. Is there something else I can do?
Dear Cdue, Thank you for your question, we need to reprogram the amount of water please see below instructions :- Entering a default setting for the amount of water for a cup size Precondition: READY appears on the display
and the coffee spout is set at the 1 cup position.
Place the cup under the coffee spout.
T Press the Rotary Switch and hold it down.
During grinding the strength of the coffee
is displayed.
Continue to hold the Rotary Switch down
until ENOUGH COFFEE ? appears.
The coffee flows into the cup.
Press the Rotary Switch again when enough
coffee has been filled into the cup.
OK, the default setting for the amount of
water for one coffee has been entered.
READY

Is it OK to use Crio Bru (ground cacao beans) in the coffee powder intake part of the machine instead of ground coffee?
My Ena5 is just returned refurbished. But machine keeps repeating the rinse cycle! Any suggestions?
Hi Wade, Thank you for your question. It could be a blockage with the filter, if you use a filter please remove the filter and water put hot water as hot as the tap can go and put the tank on with hot water and no filter, please rinse a couple of times could take up to 20 goes and it should clear any blockages.
if you are still having issues please contact directly on kylie.boyd@au.jura.com.

Hi, the front cylinder on my Ena 5 is very very stiff - difficult to raise and lower.
I have recently removed it to clean the spouts (thanks for all the advice), all good - but I'm left with this problem. Any ideas?
Anne
Hi - I have run the de-scale cycle multiple times on my Jura ENA5 and the message won't go away. How can I make the message go away? Thanks
Hi. My Jura is stuck in the cleaning or rinse cycle after a recent brew and has a harsh continous rattling sound. It is stuck in this position. Every time I turn it on, it begins the initial clean cycle and then gets stuck, rattling away. Any idea what this could be?
Many thanks
Dear Mak, Thank you for your question, pelase turn your machine off and remove the drip tray completely. Place your hand were the drip tray goes feel up move the flap forward and check if its blocked with old coffee. remove the old coffee and test the machine.
Kind regards

Hi and thanks for your reply. It hasn't solved the problem unfortunately. I can get it to rinse if I slide the tray in and out a few times to stop the rattling sound. I can't however get a coffee pour out of it as when I pour coffee down the bypass chute or use the inbuilt grinder it stops and starts rattling at the point of the automatic tamping.
Its coming through the side of the sprout as well. How can I clean or remove gunk to fix it? Thanks
Please refer to review article from jvdv1, he/she cleaned the spout inside out.
Our ena 5 has suddenly stopped frothing not sure what to do. Any help?

Hello- My jura ena 5 that I just got (refurbished) made a nice shot of espresso, but then the 3 cups flashed for a good 5 or more minutes afterwards. Is this normal? I assume that it is reheating, but my c5 can do back to back... I'm wondering if I just made a big mistake in coffee makers...
