Kérastase Elixir Ultime Questions & Answers

When I started using this product I was experiencing a lot of breakage from colour-treatment (dark brown to blonde). Although I have colour treated my hair for over 10 years and stopped using heat completely, I was suddenly finding that my hair couldn't cope. I now use a full line of Kerastase products and heat style my hair as much as I want with no visible breakage at all. The Elixir Ultime (be careful to purchase the oil, not the spray) would definitely add moisture and improve the condition of your hair but I would also reccommended getting the Resistance Serum which is an intense repair serum which I found immediately repaired my bonds with very little product. I would also reccomend getting a masque - I use the Nutritive masque in place of a conditioner. I have honestly never used anything as good as Kerastase, and I have tried a lot of hair products. It's an expensive brand, but a little goes a long way. You could also try an appointment at a Kerestase salon where you could try the above treatments/products to see what works best for you? A salon treatment would be the first place I'd start if I was in your position. Maybe even Olaplex could assist you as well? There are other factors that impact the condition of your hair also, which could effect how well it stands up to chemical exposure, such as diet & hormonal imbalance or even certain medication. I improved the condition of my hair by researching and considering all of these factors that were relevant to me, as well as finding the best quality products I could find.

The best thing about this Kerastase elixir, you don’t necessarily need a heat styling which I love about it so my damaged hair sleek and safe ( even if you do it has thermal protection )
