How do I pull the floor head apart?
Bought 2400w vacuum yesterday afternoon, used it for 5 mins with the turbo head on bedrrom carpet, had vacuumed about a metre when the whole turbo head disintegrated on the floor, it was not missing parts it just completely fell apart???

how do I pull the turbo brush apart
Phillips #2 and looks like we have to unscrew the whole assembly. Just be very careful as it might drop out all sorts of parts Edit: I pulled mine apart, hidden screws under the front rollers- pop them out with a flat screw driver.
This is pretty fiddly to dismantle and not suited to being cleaned out frequently. I'd get a fork and dig hair off the roller that way.

The valve at the top of the cannister filter (below handle) is malfunctioning after turning on for 5 seconds. All filters and cannister are clean. Any suggestions on how to deal with this valve? Thanks.

Hi is there anyway other then opening the vent on the hose to turn the suction down I can't see anything on the unit or in the mannual

I've misplaced my manuals but remember there being a quick guide, I need to clean the large turbo carpet head and have unscrewed the four screws, it comes apart from the nozzle end but I'm having trouble getting the front end apart, are there instructions in the quick guide for properly cleaning the large turbo carpet head? There are no instructions in the manual as i've checked online.

What is the valve at the top of the dust canister for? Can’t find any reference to it in the manual. When it opens the suction reduces & I need to turn it off to get it to close again.

Hi Susan. No, it has terrible suction after the second or third use. Don't waste your money.

I bought one in March of 2024 and after I used it a few times the suction was terrible like you said so I was going to return it but I have been ill for a few months and never returned it. Thank god I did not and today thanks to the people on this page I got a manual for the vacuum. When I emptied the vac it looked clean but no suction I did try a few times. Today I saw how to clean it and OMG you should have seen how much hair and dirt was wrapped around the basket once I turned it counter close wise. I had to use a pair of sissors to cut all the hair and dirt away from the machine. Finally I used it today and it did a great job. When I got mine, it never came with a manual so I did not know that you had to turn this to actually clean it. You would not believe how much dirt was trapped in there. I am so happy now that I know how to clean it and get great suction.

the roller on the head has stopped spinning i pulled it apart and now it won t go i think ive put it back togther wrong
Try pulling it apart again and fitting the parts back in. It can be as simple as a plastic holder put back in the wrong way. Also while its apart just check there is nothing stopping the belt from rotating. If this doesn't work, it can be easy to buy another head or one of a different model and an adjuster, but for this machine I wouldn't bother wasting the money.

No, not a fault. It can be tricky. Just make sure it is sitting in the base properly first before trying to click the top in.

If it was still in warranty, you may have been able to return it for a refund. Not sure about that though. I have only just seen your question unfortunately.

Kmart 2400W Bagless I loved it the first go but second go the suction has reduced it doesn't even power the carpet head like the first time. Am i meant to clean a filter as this is ridiculous.

Where can I buy a new tube for this item?
It would be probably cheaper buying a whole new vacuum as they are only $49
