Kmart 40cm Chrome Metal Pedestal Fan Questions & Answers

What of the noise level and cost to run is this 40cm chrome metal blade fan ($10 dearer than the 50cm black plastic version) over the other 2 (40cm plastic) ones in store to give best air flow, minimum noise and over power usage? Kmart offers no display of models either? Clear cut information like choice offers but without the $90 fee to join for such reliable info? Old school fan I own had a better blade pitch angle and is quieter (25-year-old Australian made fan) still going strong today beats anything you can buy in the shops. Something as comparable would be good these days I don’t think ever exist unless we made them again here!? Spend the 45 get maybe two years out of it but it’s noisy and has crappy airflow? Save the $10 quiet but poor airflow? Noisy, poor flow and EXPENSIVE? Won’t know without such a test?
