KTM 200 Duke Questions & Answers
How is Duke 200 2020 model for 50km daily commute to and from work totalling 100km. How is the rider comfort? Is the Royal Enfield classic 350 more suitable for me in terms of rider comfort?
If you are 180cm tall or less and maybe 70kg or less the KTM comfort will be fine. The Royal Enfield 350 is probably comfortable enough if you don't mind riding a bike that feels like it's still 1950. 2020 KTM with ABS, 400 km range, six gears, multi-function instrument panel, excellent headlight, super light weight and stunning styling - an amazing machine. Under $5000 on the road - commuting heaven!
I agree with you. Read a lot of owner's negative reviews regarding Royal Enfield's reliability. I will most likely swap out the Duke 200s halogen headlight for 390s led headlight. Also maybe swap out the stock seat to KTM's own softer seats for duke. Also add 390s handle weights and hand guard. Will look sick! What are your thoughts?
Definitely would swap out the seat. I only commute 10km and I find the seat is bearable, but on long trips it gets sore.
Hey just wondering what is the average price for a 2012 KTM 200 Duke
Depends on condition, mileage, probably under $2000
Go to the bikesales site or Gumtree and check there. Be aware also that you can get a new KTM on the road for under $4000 at some dealers - though it's about $500 more for the 2020 ABS model. New or secondhand it is an amazingly capable motorcycle for not a lot of money at all.
