hey guys and girls, I currently have acquired a 250 of a mate to get me into the riding scene, its a wicked little bike, lots of fun but 2 things that I can fault. firstly, it needs an extra gear, sitting on 100km on the highway sounds like a pitbike at full noise, now im not mechanically minded but is there someway of doing a gearbox alteration to add an extra gear or am peeing in the wind? Also is there some way of doing an aftermarket light/s for the indicators, lights and high beams on the dash as its really hard to see when in the daylight. cheers

Gearbox makes a banging noise like its jumping cogs when in four wheel drive. Any ideas?

Hi I’m looking at getting the 2013 model 250cc but I’m a little worried about getting a cruiser because I’m not sure how well it would handle on the city roads, has anyone ever come across difficulties when turning there bike?

I ride a large cruiser and have n issues in city traffic, my son has a Venox and has been happy with it, if you are worried about maneuverability I would suggest that you could do an advanced rider training course, and of course do lots of practice getting into tight spaces and such, hope this helps

Can anyone tell me,there is a black choke on the left,what is the black dial like toggle on the right in about the same position as the the choke except opposite side?

I assume you mean Venox? They can cost anywhere between $3,999 and $4,500 brand new.

Hi, I live in Sydney(Strathfield) and I am reading positive review for the Venox. What is the price range for a new Venox and can anyone recommend a dealer that can give a good price? Also, what $$$ am I looking at for regular services?

Had my Venox 250 for 4 years going on 5 now, and I had never had any problem's except for the gas cap vent that was blocked by the gasket but that was an asy fix. I am 5 feet 10 inches and weight 190 lbs. Every years I go on a long vacation trip with my friends fully loaded, saddle bags, top case and two bags on the passenger portion of the seat. On a few section of the trip it have lots of hills and the bike just zip up those ills if you are at the right gear. You have to learn to use the bike because your dealing with a 250cc but once you master it you won't regreat it. An other of my bodies have the same bike and in the gang we are the only one that had zero problems. It cruise for hours at 105 km per hour and it is very relaxing to drive. I would not hesitate buying an other one. Milage at the moment 30,000 km.

I live in Quebec Canada and of course you don't find a dealer ship in every little city like you would with Honda or Harley but the bike never give any problems and with regular maintenance that you can perform yourself you will be happy.
