Hi I have this red machine which I bought from a secondhand dealer- the LE error will not stop coming up And we have had the rotar replaced, the wire harness and the hall sensor and still it keeps coming up - LG said warranty doesn’t apply to second owner so the 10 year motor warranty doesn’t apply - sucks !
My 7 year old washer hasn't missed a beat until recently it doesn't seem to be rinsing well. Still soap suds in the final spin. Any ideas?
I'm sorry seven years is a good innings. Only thing I can suggest is try a different powder or get a service.
What does ae or re stand for on display? Machine has just stopped there.
Hi I've reread the user manual and this code is not listed. May I suggest you contact LG customer service. if your machine has the smart diagnosis symbol on the front you can download the phone app if you have a smartphone. LG can determine the error via this application.
Hi have AE come up on screen. What does that mean? Machine wont turn off or on or change cycle. Please help
Hiya, AE indicates that the safety switch in the base has activated. It means you have a leak somewhere and the base has flooded. You need to find the leak, repair it and then drain the water out of the base, Once the base of the appliance is emptied the safety switch will reset.
Unplug the appliance from the wall socket. Pull the machine out and tip it rearward about 45 degrees and see it drains the base from the rear corners of the appliance.
Alternatively, the LG washer has smart diagnose which is an app you can get from your phone or here It will help the LG people tell you whats wrong with your machine.

I've had this washing machine for just over a year now and am frustrated with a few things.Does anyone else have dramas with kids socks constantly getting stuck in the drain filter? It gets annoying having to use wash bags all the time. My clothes are often chewed up and on several occasions I've had to dig items like underwear (which are now destroyed) out from the area between the drum and flexible gasket as I keep getting the UE error come up. Given the good reviews I've seen i was wondering if im the only one experiencing these issues?
Hi. Regarding the UE error not sure abt that coz i never got that error. But re baby socks getting in the drain filter it usually happen to me when item placed closed to the door. Just check & give it a push towards inside of the drum before u close the door. Hope this helps.
I would call where you got it from and ask for a replacement, that or call LG under their warranty service. I know its not supposed to be doing that at all. I have never had anything get stuck nor destroyed with this washer.
If it is possible as in ASAP, may I know the power rating for this LG washing machine?
The label on machine (WD14030D6) is 4 stars and 340 kWh per year on warm wash. If this is not what you are after (the manual gives no other info and I cant access other labels easily) then suggest you contact LG customer service at LG.com.au. We have no issue with power consumption.
hi, can I only use cold water for washing with this front load washing machine?
We only ever use cold and it seems to do a fine job.
Am wondering if you have to connect this machine to both hot and cold water or can it be connected to a cold tap outlet only.
Hi Marina, we recommend against connecting only a single water inlet hose to your unit. Both the hot & cold inlet connections are required for normal operation. If you only have a cold tap available in your laundry, we recommend purchasing an "Inverted Y Connector" from your local hardware store, this will allow you to connect your cold tap to both the hot & cold inlet valves on the unit. We moved on the weekend, once the machine was connected it now does the cycle but once it gets to rinse and spin it stops and gives error 3??? I cant find my manual

Lg has a great phone support team they can even email you the page you need from the manual - thats what they did when I couldnt find mine :-) and still cant....

We moved house plugd in washer and now cant open the door??
I can't help, beyond suggesting you give LG a call. Our machine is currently under repair too, funnily enough also for the door - the plastic lever to open it has broken off. It's going to take a while (we're at the "ordering parts" stage, but LG will replace the door. Probably not your issue though!

So this machine acts as a dryer too? How do u clean the machine?
It's a washing machine, no dryer included. The WD14039D6 is the candy red colour washing machine and the WD14030D6 is the white washing machine, both are the same washing machine just different colour so different serial no. I could be wrong.
The washing machine has instructions for tub clean.
Yes it acts as a dryer. I haven't yet had to clean it, there are instructions in the manual on how to do this. I have been wiping out the inside of the machine and around the rubber lining on the door to rid the machine of any lint. I've had this machine for a little while now and use it constantly. It seems to be coping with everything.

Pore a small packet of Epson salts into the bottom of the bowl and use a hot wash cycle or cleaning cycle , one /twice a year..
Will clean out all the sludge and smells .
