i have just purchased the 9m kilo front loader can i use powder in the manual dispenser with a fabric softener in the number 2 dispenser thanks

How can I use a prewash powder with this machine???? It says prewash can't be added in the manual dispenser, and the auto dispense is only for liquid detergent and softener. There is a prewash function but no instructions as to where to add prewash powder, only where you can't add it. Seems like a simple thing but I can not get an answer, just running around in circles..... Thanx
