Lucci Futura Eco Questions & Answers
VerifiedOur KE SF 140129L WH model ceiling fan has been working well for 9 years but now the light has stopped working. Can the light be replaced and how? I'm an electrician, but the light housing doesn't seem to budge when turned left or right. Thanks, john
Where do I buy a led globe to replace the very dim that came with the fan?
Hi Melissa Can you please email support@beaconlighting.com.au and advise the 6-digit SKU number of the fan you have so we can look into this further for you Regards - Beacon Lighting customer service
Hi, I have 3 Lucci airfusion climate fans, one wont start, it surges but won’t spin, and another has trouble starting doing a similar thing. Researching this sounds like a capacitor. Are they about to be changed out on this fan?
Hi Sean, The issue could be related to the capacitor in the fan, which is a replaceable part. If the fan you have is still part of our range, we sell it as a spare part. My suggestion would be to have an electrician service your fan to determine the issue. In regards to spare parts, these enquiries need to be made through your closest Beacon Lighting store as they have access to our spare parts division and will be able to assist in making the spare parts enquiry, along with an eta and costing, should the parts be available. Regards, Customer Service
Hi I have a futura eco series LD - 140129 - 52-30 The switch operates on one level only I believe the capacitor needs replacing
I have attempted to go to Beacon to get this but they need the SKU number to confirm which capacitor I need The sku is not on the fan Please supply Thanks
Hi Ash The SKU may be located on a sticker on the canopy of the fan If not, can you please email some photos of your fan to support@beaconlighting.com.au so we can identify this. Kind regards Amber - BL Customer Service
Graeme The light turns at will? This is only occasional but does happen, during the night? Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks
Hi Graeme, if your fan and light are using a remote control, it sounds like someone nearby, not necessarily in the same household, has an appliance using the same frequency. If you DM us at support@beaconlighting.com.au, the details of the fan/light you have and any remote you have, we will be able to advise as to how to fix the issue. Debbie- Beacon Lighting Customer Service
How do you remove the cover in order to change the bulb? We have loosened the cover but it will not come off?
Hi Lyn, it will depend on the actual model of fan you have as to whether the cover can come off. Can you DM us at support@beaconlighting.com.au, the exact model of fan you have, there should be a 6-digit SKU on the fan like 210950, and the issue, and we will get back to you about this.

My Lucci Air Futura ceiling fan (purchased Feb 2015 from Beacon Lighting) has stopped working. The light works via the wall switch, but fan won’t operate. I have changed batteries in remote. Red light comes on remote when button pressed but won’t control either fan or light. Please advise how to repair? Thanks

Hi, does it beep when you turn fan on? Do you have any other fans the same in your house.? They have little receivers in them that need replaced. We took one out of a fan working and our fan started working again! So beacon ordered us a new one in.
Hi Jaimee, thanks for the reply. no it doesn't beep and we do have another similar fan in another room that still works. I spoke to Beacon and they thought it was the receiver too, will see if that fixes it. Thanks for you advice. cheers

Light blinking when switched on How to fix this
HI Raj, can you please supply some more information? If you could email us at support@beaconlighting.com.au the details of the light ie. SKU number (this is 6 digits like 010130) and/or the name, we can look into this for you and hopefully answer your issue. Debbie- Beacon Lighting Customer Service
We are having trouble removing the glass panel to change a lightbulb. How do you change the lightbulb on a futura model ld 140129 fan? Should the glass panel come away easily? If not what do you suggest?
Hi Soren What you need to do is with one hand, hold the metal part above the light and with the other hand, turn the glass only in an anticlockwise direction, about a 1/4 of a turn. Sometimes due to the glass expansion (due to the heat from the globe), the glass can stick, so you just need to give the glass a tap in the anti-clockwise direction and it should turn. Regards Amber - BL Customer Service
Thank you Amber. Unfortunately this didn't work. I have tapped around it gently with a rubber tool, used rubber gloves for grip and the light glass fixtures refuses to release. We have two of these fans and neither can open. We are at the point where we either need to smash the glass or replace the whole fan just to replace a lightbulb. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Obviously from reviews we are not the first to experience this problem. Do you sell the individual glass cover if it needs to be smashed?
Hi Soren, Thank you for letting us know about this. I am sorry that you have been unsuccessful in getting the glass cover of your fan off. Can you please DM us at support@beaconlighting.com.au, so that we can pass on your enquiry regarding the availability of spare parts.
Kind Regards, Michael - BL Customer Service
Was this resolved I have exactly the same issue on two fans. The glass will not turn anti clockwise to remove the glass and replace the globe
No it was not. We just got new fans as we would have needed to smash the glass.
Expensive globe replacement. I have changed a globe before but they seem to fuse over time
No, I'm talking the glass panelling wouldn't even come off to be able to replace the globe. We couldn't get access to it. Both the electrician and I couldn't loosed it to get access. Didn't have any guarantee the spare part wouldn't do the same. Chose to go with a better product during renovation.
My light randomly turns off and won’t turn back on. Doesn’t matter if the fan is on or off
Hi Chris, Thank you for your enquiry. I am sorry to hear you have issues with your fan. Can you please email us at support@beaconlighting.com.au with some more information. Please include the SKU of the fan you have, your contact details and the purchase date. Kind regards Amber - BL Customer Service

I have a Luccia Air Futura Eco (SKU 211027). The fan works fine but the light has all of a sudden gone very dull and barely provides any light. Took the LED Circle light panel in today to Beacon Lighting and was advised that the light panel is very expensive and costs over $200 to replace, which is close to the cost of the fan. Advised that i should buy a new fan. I have two Eco's and can't believe i need to replace a whole fan because the of the light issue.

Hi Lincoln, I am sorry to hear of the issue with your fan. Same here lucci Whitehaven, no light. How did you fix?
I have just installed a Lucci Slipstream, the fan is not working and controller beeps twice when remote pushed
Hi Adam, Thank you for your message. The remote needs to be paired initially with the fan. If you email us at Support@beaconlighting.com.au, we can assist you with the process. If it has been paired already and stopped working. It may be a warranty issue. If so, could you please fill out the below form so we can assist you.
