Miele S381 Questions

I'd like to know about the Miele S381 vacuum cleaner. I've moved to a unit and put in new carpet. I was told by the carpet layer not to get a "beater" type vacuum cleaner for my carpet - is this a beater or just a suction cleaner? Ta

This is an excellent suction cleaner with variable power dial to vacuum bare boards, curtains, rugs and carpet.

Hi, the Miele 381 is a suction type vacuum which is very well made and very reliable, certainly the best value for money that I've found. Just remember to change the bags when they are full,

Thank you for your help. I ended up purchasing this particular vacuum cleaner from Godfreys on line for $199 (free shipping) as it was such a bargain (half price). I live in country NSW and it arrived within a few days. I've been using it a lot as we've had tradesmen doing all sorts of work and the carpet has to be cleaned daily. It's doing a great job so I'm very happy.
