I have WMG120. Many times (fairly constant) I get "Container 2 empty", when container 2 is fulllll. A Miele technician did a special rinse and taught me how to do it. Of course he sold me "Twin Dos Care" (price 3 times like on the internet). It helped for 2 washes. I managed to do Care once. And then the old "F 0211" problems came back. There was a technician again. And after 1 wash I have a new problem "Fit the container". I took out each of the containers and put them in several times. I gave up. I am from Israel and in Israel, we have hard water. BUT I bought the machine in Israel. P.S. My son uses now our old mechanical Miele. 40 years old (age of my dauther).
It time to wash a load of sheets on Cotton cycle takes 3 hours and 10 minutes. If I add the Short option it takes 1 hour and 39 minutes. Why so long? Also, I have been observing the rinse water as it ejects into a laundry sink and it is not clean - at all. Yesterday I washed 2 Queen bed size linen sheets. After the cycle had finished the final rinse water was very cloudy and sudsy with some fluff and debris in the bottom of the sink. I activated the extra Rinse and Spin cycle 4 times before the water came out reasonably clear. Each Rinse and Spin cycle takes 29 minutes. Needless to say it took most of the day to get one load of washing done. This is not acceptable.
Hi. I live in remote Mallacoota where technicians are not readily available. I’ve spoken with the plumber, the builder, Miele support and a local bloke who does appliance repairs (he is very unwell with COVID-19 so unavailable to have a look for a while). I have a fiancé and 16 month old baby boy. We lost everything in Black Summer bushfires. We must move back to the rebuilt house this Easter 2020. I had a plumber install the Miele WCE670 washing machine today 14/4/2020 through my builder. He removed transit bars, hooked up clear open pipes, closed all doors and covers, power on, water on, display on but when we press the on button an error message comes up “start not possible” ! Cannot move in without the washing machine whilst we have a young infant. Can anyone help please ? Any ideas or solutions ? This is a first time use. EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING, DISAPPOINTED AND UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER and I haven’t even used it ! Philip C, Mallacoota
I have a twindos machine that is 9 months old. It has had minimal use. There have been several issues with it. Now the touch screen is unresponsive. It lights up but I cannot get it to work at all. I’ve tried all the usual things - switching it on and off etc. This should not happen with such an expensive machine. Any suggestions please? A replacement would be good!
Don't have any answers or suggestions but just wanted to say that I have the same issue. So frustrating and the customer service people just tell me to switch it off and on again at the wall - argh!!
hi there. My W1 washing machine displays a red "i" on the panel and there is an orange munger 1 after the was has finished. I have run the hot wash programme to keep the drum clean from detergent build up
How do I turn ON the beep at the end of a wash cycle
I have never turned on the beep signal Lyn, but if you look in the instruction book, it shows how you can programme in different features. I have done this myself a couple of times and is pretty easy to do
I have tried by the book no luck
I didn’t even realise there was an off signal . I must do this myself

I have a Miele Twin Dos. After completing Maintenance on my 2 Twin Dos Containers and replacing newly purchased Ultra Phase 1 and 2, it seems the Twin Dos washing does not work as after every wash the machine shows Container 1 is Empty even though I have just replaced the Cartridge and currently Full. What’s the problem?

Same as mine. Have to remove the twindos then reinsert again to detect
Why does the washing machine smell. We have done more than 10 maintenance washes, also used Miele deep clean product and vinegar and bicarbonate soda on extra hot long cycles. Washing still stinks.
Not quite sure what smell it is. A damp, musty smell? OK - try this. Fill the softener compartment with white vinegar. Run the machine on cotton setting at its highest temperature (90 c), with no spin at the end.
Do this monthly,
BTW - I never use softener, as it gums up the internals.
I have a WCE670 and have and can't get the machine working due to a message displaying remove cap. I don't use cap but my own washing liquid. How do I bypass this message and start machine. The machine is only 1 year old and this is second time. Any suggestions!!
My Miele W1 has error message saying “cannot be changed”. I tried turn on/ off and plug off and back in. No buttons work either. How shall I resolve it?

Hi just wondering if anyone got their washing machine replaced as I have the same problems.Washing machine smells due to twindos, rough on clothes, towels come out like cardboard. My clothes are not washed properly. Am I wasting another $180 to get a tech to check that this machine should not be sold at all. I paid $2000!!!!!!
Hi, there. My machine failed very soon after I bought it. Miele could not get the replaced part installed before Christmas which was a big problem. Would not offer replacement machine either - not even a loan machine. Hours on phone waiting for service. After much frustration, I contacted sales person who mediated on my behalf (having bought Miele oven/dishwasher/dryer from him). He arranged for me to return the washing machine to Miele and I bought a different brand. Love new machine and washes brilliantly. Think Miele has a glitch in its electronics and is relying on its reputation and not its current performance. Sorry unable to be more help.
It says programme cancelled. Bit door is locked.
My machine won’t do anything but displays a message “ i Cannot be changed “. What do we do??
Hi Twindos maintenance appears on machine but the arrows do not light up, unable to proceed only 6 months old, is there a simple fix? Dave
Only had my Miele washing machine for 1 month then returned it to Miele. But I think you need to carry out the maintenance via the extra programs then settings. Refer to manual under cleaning care. Sorry can be more help but didn't have it long enough to forge to memory.
I have a Miele WCE 330 8kg washer and the touch screen is lighting up but unresponsive. I have tried unplugging it for a few minutes and cleaning the touch screen. Any other suggestions anyone please?
Hi, there. I bought a brand new 1860 9kg washer. Soon after installation, the screen lit up but machine did not work. It "fixed" itself after a few days. Then "unfixed" itself and would not work despite being lit up. Arranged service call. He attended and installed updates. However, washing machine still would not start. Service man ordered part but part back ordered. I think there is a glitch in the Miele software as understand many people have experienced similar problems. Sorry can't help more. I was so annoyed that I contacted sales man and arranged for my brand new washing machine to be returned to Miele. I bought a different brand. So far, so good.
This has also happened to us - Got the first machine replaced after the controls were un-responsive for three days. 2nd machine worked for a while before controls became un-responsive again, but seemingly it fixed itself a day later - so far has done this on three other occasions... and thankfully has fixed itself... so far have chosen to spend money at the laundromatte instead of the repair man.... hoping to keep it just long enough to justify the upfront cost and then will get a cheaper and less fancy machine.
I have not figured out a way to "fix it" other than leave it a few days - sorry, no help whatsoever right?
Why won’t the touch screen panel work it lights up but won’t respond it’s like it’s frozen
Maybe the computerise system of the machine is faulty, calling the Miele customer might help.
My touch screen has failed! Machine less than 6 months old. I am told MARCH before part available. Unacceptable.
Hi, I recently bought model WWD320WCS and was wondering how do you know if the cycle is finished? Machine doesn't beep. I can see a green light Start/Add laundry on and everything else is blank.
My machine says finish , the beep is programmable, there’s a button to push if you need a beep sound when cycle is completed

My twin dos machine is only 3 months old. The twin dos is activated however the detergent is not being used by the machine..
Contact the customer care, they should be able to help you in this.

The liquid detergent can and does solidify in the pipes and pump if you fail to use TwinDOS regularly
