I am considering going back to a Miele machine as want to stack my Miele dryer. I presently have a fisher and paykel machine I purchased about a year ago when my 8 year old Miele broke down - cost of repair was quoted at $990 which was the price of new F&P and I happy with it but miss the Miele wash quality. My concern is that my old machine was a "known fault" and people are now saying this machine has a "known fault" Im reluctant to spend $5k on a machine from Miele again with a known fault Any thoughts/advice gratefully received.

I have a Miele WMV960WPS and have the stacking kit WTV512 that goes with TMV840 dryer.

Miele has advised I need to screw in the stacking kit to the top of my brand new washer. I"m reluctant to do this given how much I have just paid for it and because I'm only renting, one day i might want to put them side by side. Has anyone figure a way to use the stacking kit or know of a universal stacking kit that wont' require drilling? If I had a 3D printer, I could potentially recreate some mounting brackets that will use existing screws in the cover but unfortunately I don't have one.

Any suggestions?

Hi, I’ve just had a WMV960 delivered had it installed by a meile plumber as we had to change our taps :( I asked if he calibrated it I assume he did - as I wasn’t asked to do so - and I’ve tried to do a wash just incase a cottons wash to set up the twin dos system - however before I read that it I did or detwrgentbin the draw to do a white wash - and it also hasn’t let me selec capsize or twin dose or detergent when trying to use does anyone know how to change the main wash settings so I can select the detergent I want? With the twin dos or detergent (I do t use the caps) I can’t find a setting to change it anywhere (main wash settings)

Hi, did you get this sorted? I missed the white wash bit in the manual and did mine with colored which still seemed to work fine. I also ran in to not being able to select any options but found that if I cancelled right out and started again, then it would let me.
