Hello, my husband bought me a fold away fan for my birthday in May. I put batteries in it and plugged it in and it worked great. A true life saver, it allowed me to sleep. Then the batteries died and it stopped working, even when plugged in. Shouldn't this fan work with no batteries because it has a plug in? Thank you in advance for your help. I love this fan. I have menopause and this fan allows me to sleep at night. I am crushed that it stopped working again. Thank you for an awesome product.

Thank you for your kind words, we’re really glad to hear how much the Foldaway Fan has helped you, especially during a time when comfort is so important. We're truly sorry to hear it's no longer working.

The My Foldaway Fan is designed to be rechargeable and can usually operate while plugged in. However, if the internal battery is completely depleted or no longer functional, the fan may not power on even when connected to a power outlet. It’s important to ensure the battery is still in good condition for the fan to work properly, whether in cordless mode or while plugged in.

The battery may need replacing, and if so, we encourage you to consult a qualified technician or professional before attempting any battery replacement.

Hi the blade has broken on my fan. Where can I get a replacement blade for my 8ich fold away fan. It was bought from qvc.

Thanks for reaching out! Replacement blades for the My Foldaway Fan aren’t typically sold separately by the manufacturer. We recommend checking with the retailer where the fan was purchased, or exploring online marketplaces for compatible fan blades. If you're unsure about fit or installation, it's always best to consult the user manual or seek help from professionals.

What type of charger can I purchase for my fan?

Global Shop Direct
Global Shop Direct   DM

The My Foldaway Fan typically charges via a USB cable. Some models use a mini-USB connector, while others may use a micro-USB or USB-C. You can connect the appropriate USB cable to a USB power adapter, such as those used for mobile phones, or to a USB port on your computer. Ensure that the power adapter provides the correct voltage and current as specified in your fan's manual.

If you’re unsure about the specific charger type or voltage required for your model, we recommend consulting a professional or referring to your fan’s manual for accurate specifications to avoid any damage.

I own 2 of these that I bought for when the power goes out. I have a family member in the hospital/rehabilitation and thought I would use it there because of the heat in the place being to high. At first the first one worked fine then after a few days it would work but while run it the wind would stop blow as hard to about nothing eventhough the fan blades where still spinning. The weird part is if I turned it upside down it would blow hard again for a few minutes then it would decrease again. If I turned it over again it would work for a few more minutes. I switched out to the second one and it did it also after a few days. What is wrong I've never seen a fan not blow out with the blade spinning.

How to charge fan using an adapter? Instruction book option 1: insert usb end into the power adapter (not included) and the other end into the micro usb port on side of fan, then PLUG into a POWER OUTLET. My model is 7039FEB. What I would like is a recommendation on purchasing a power adapter that does not overheat. I bought 1 and used 2 different adapters that I use to charge my phone

Hi Bill, did you purchase these recently? If so, you most likely have a counterfeit model.

Hi Neovoh, I suggest you take it back to where you bought it as it was recalled because of the danger of catching fire whilst charging
