I originally requested to downgrade my subscription. However, I ended up being subscribed to both versions because I was advised there was not enough storage to back up my file and proceed with the downgrade.

I then requested that the Lite subscription be cancelled and asked to keep only the original version with read-only access ($2.50/month). Instead, I was once again subscribed to read-only access for both versions.

I have repeatedly requested that the Lite read-only subscription be cancelled, but I have continually been asked to call your support team. I do not wish to waste more time on a phone call for a request that should be able to be resolved by email.

This issue has now been ongoing for several months, and I have been charged multiple duplicate subscription fees as a result. Please cancel the duplicate Lite subscription immediately and process a refund for all duplicate charges without any further delay.

I'm sorry to hear that both subscriptions were moved to a read only subscription instead of just the AccountRight and cancelling Lite. You will need to speak with the team to get this fixed up, once you get them, it should be an easy fix though.

I have been trying to have the ownership of MYOB business payroll only subscription and contact changed into my name. The previous person who had all of the access has now left the company. I have submitted the appropriate paperwork 3 times in 7 days. No response, I have reporting obligations and employee payments to sort out. I don’t know what else to do?

With your new upgrade, I can't match anymore the payroll to the payment in my bank transaction, what happened to the simple matching transactions. Why the recent pay made to employees don't appear anymore so I can easily match them. Does it mean I will have to manually assign a General code from the account list and itemised individually from wage, to super, etc..I thought this is an upgrade and improvement? This will now ruin all report because it wont match anymore automatuically to the right GL code from my Account list. You made an easy and simple system so inefficient. I was a user for more than 3 years and very happy before you decided t I upgrade the Essential, but it turned out it was going backward instead of improvement.

Customer services takes a minimum hold of 30 minutes. I was told to call early morning at 8 am. It seems there are 1 or 2 people only in the support, the voice recording says I'm on 2nd in the queue but the wait was a minimum 30 minutes? When finally my phone was answered by an overseas customer service, she can't help me and wants me to hold again to be transferred to another area because she does not handle problem about bank reconciliation.I waited and it took more than 30 minutes again for the staff to help me and at the end it was not resolved because they don't have an access to see our screen to understand what's happening. The only solution was to give them an email with the screen shot.. this is not how IT support should be. Very very disappointed.

I have a supplier who is also a customer. They have issued a supplier credit note to apply against open invoices. This credit applies to open customer invoice. How to I record against customer invoice?

Payroll Question. I have paid someone twice realised what I had done and then deleted it however I had already sent off to ATO so now my MYOB is less than the ATO. How can I fix that. Should I do a negative pay. Looking back I realise I should have just reversed the pay i duplicated :(

How do I print/email (my debtor) customer a statement of account with invoices and payments showing for a give period?

With our newer MYOB Essentials product range you can print an activity based statement through Sales>>Customer statement. This would show the activity of the customer card over a period of time. Check out external link  for more information.

I need a report that shows GST detail with all sales and purchases in the month. MYOB has suggested I run 3 reports for this and not one of them gives me any of the info I need. I need to be able to reconcile the figures in MYOB back to my BAS statement so I need to filter down to the individual transactions....I am using MYOB Essentials with Payroll

Hi Mary, the GST detailed report will based on tax codes listed on the transaction. If you are running that for an accrual basis it will show you all the transactions for that month. If you are on an cash basis, the report will show all the payment transactions. As it's reporting on the payments it may not be reporting all those transactions recorded within the month i.e. invoice was recorded in the month but the payment has not come in until the following month. As such, you may need to combine this report with an accrual based GST detailed report to get a full list of transactions recorded in that period.

I'm not good with myob I get help from a friend who is an account, but I think it could be that you have a limit of how many accounts you have started in MYOB think the max is 4. eg personal account, buisness account, sports club account if you are a secretary doing the club accounts. hope that helps. someone else may help more sorry.

After many years using MYOB for our small business, this year we are scaling back after reaching retirement age. After a long and very protracted period of emailing and phone calls we finally received a full refund of our annual subscription ($1200) as I cancelled it on the renewal day.

My question now is why do I get a message on screen regarding confirmation of my company file and when I do so I get another message saying I need to contact MYOB to continue entering my financial records. We still want and need to keep records up to date for some time yet and I don't understand how I can be prevented from doing so. I don't want upgrades or access to online services just the ability to keep my records. Why am I not able to do this??

In MMOB accountRight go to LISTS at the top of your screen. Then click on accounts then click on the + sign.

In essentials on the top right is a menubar that if you click you can get the account list and add accounts.

I also would like a public answer as to why with an original outright payment for the software years ago I am now being forced to pay for an update to get the company file confirmed.

You won't get a public answer. They pulled the same stunt with me after constant calls asking me to upgrade despite me repeatedly saying it wasn't necessary, all of a sudden I was locked out. They tried to say to say this happens if the files have been inactive for over 4 months (they hadn't ), then that I needed to receive an mail with a new licence key (bull, it was only to attach spyware to keep track of your serial number and usage) and only after repeatedly telling them the computer the program was on was not set up for email did they surprise surprise, suddenly have the ability to unlock the files.
