Omega Altise OP40R Questions

I own the Altise altise Model: AM403R , when I turned it on this summer the misting is not working , I have checked the obvious things , water is getting to the bowl , the two hoses are connected and sealed , and it is getting power to the light to operate the mist . I am wondering if whatever it is a valve?? or fan thingy ?? that the power turns on to start the misting is stuck from everything sitting empty for so long. everything else seems to still operate fine. Can you give me any sort of ideas.

Hi there John , as you have done all the trouble shooting from the manual and the mist is still not working , please return it to your place of purchase along with your receipt and request a replacement unit as all of our Altise products carry a two year manufacturers warranty. If we can assist further please call our customer service team on

I have just purchased this fan, the remote works but the control on the pedestal doesn’t, have I put it together wrong?

I can't be certain but I don't think you've assembled the fan incorrectly. The pedestal control is one unit. My original OP40R had a faulty pedestal control unit and Omega Altis replaced the fan. I would contact Omega Altis if I were you because their customer service is very good. My second OP40R is still working really well. Good luck.
