How does the sound alert work on the sc500?

There are various alerts that cause the parent unit to continuously beep including parent unit not being able to connect to main baby unit, parent unit being low on battery and baby unit sensing an out of range temperature (if a range has been set).

My monitor keeps buzzing like its shorting out ans then turns off, its never been miss treated only used for 6 months with our first in 2015. Now just started using again for baby number two. Is there anyway to fix this? Model no: SC510 SN: CC04L31014633 Kind regards, Jade
