Is it common for the monitor screen to just go black and never come back again ? It was working fine for the last 6 months but last week the screen just blacked out and never came back I’ve tried the cord in the camera aswell to make sure it’s not an issue with the cord and the light on the camera comes on so it’s not that
I contacted your customer service team and with in 10 minutes they’ve got me a new replacement screen on the way so 10/10 for Janet salama in your customer service department she deserves a raise for her awsome and quick work
What happens when the monitor won’t turn on and I can hear my voice from the camera, but I can’t get anything, but a black screen on the monitor

We have VOX activated but only puts sound through for first couple of seconds then turns off. I can hear my baby through the wall but the monitor/screen isn’t turning on long enough to put the sound through. Is that normal?

We have an oricom740 and would like to add a second camera. We have been offered a friends 740 unit that is one screen and one camera. Can we pair the camera from that unit with our screen?

Hi, l have recently purchased the secure 740 video baby monitor, when l was setting up the camera l noticed that l had to mount the camera on a very high shelf to get all of the basinet interior into the view. Is their a parameter that l can adjust or change so that l can mount the camera closer to the basinet, because at the moment, the power adapter for the camera is off the floor when plugged into an extension lead putting weight on the camera wiring. Hi. What is the maximum distance of this camera? If my baby sleeping in the bedroom and I have to be in the backyard which is a big area, will I still be able to check on my baby? Thanks
Hi there, the unit is measured to a range of up to 150m in line of sight. Obviously obstacles and walls etc, will play a role in reducing range. Oricom

I have the sc745 camera and parent unit, has been working perfectly for 6 months. All of a sudden yesterday the sound has stoped working on the parent unit. Picture and so on all still perfect just no sound at all regardless of how loud the volume is turned up! Is there any reason for this? Would this be covered by the warranty?

I have the Oricom OBH930 x3 cameras for 3 seperate rooms
From the parent unit- can it be set to go to which ever room the noise is coming from? Can the scan be set lower than 12seconds?
I have multiple little ones and I want to put it on multi view but if it’s on multi view it’s still set on one room the sound doesn’t get detected to alert me from other rooms can this be changed?

Hi from New Zealand, am wondering if the angle of the camera can be controlled by the parent unit? I have an older Oricom that I use and I can follow my baby from one end of the cot to the other by pushing the arrows on the parent unit.

I currently have this monitor and expecting another baby. When two cameras are linked can you see both on the screen at the same time? Or when both are link and motion sensor is activated will it show the baby that’s moving?
Hey Breeana, thanks for the message. When 2 or more cameras are paired to the SC740 parent unit, it operates on a scan cycle function. It will continually cycle through each of the connected cameras. Unfortunately when more then one camera is paired, the VOX and motion detection features will be disabled. The Secure740 does not feature split screen capabilities. All the best, Oricom Baby Care.

I have just purchased the additional camera for my 740 monitor. One camera will be in my toddlers room and the second camera in my newborn room. We have the Vox turned on and motion detection off and put it in sleep mode (by clicking the power button for the screen to go black). If I set my monitor to scan between each camera does this mean a sound alert will display on my screen if crying or noise is detected in one of the rooms?
