Is the Ozito SDR-036 still available anywhere in Australia, Preferably NSW.
Problem, power getting to Drill as red light comes on light works but it does not Charge Has not been used a lot.
The lithium battery inside the drill is stuffed if it’s been flat for months. It should always be kept at least 50% charge when not in use or it will die or go flat really quickly after being charged.
Thanks for info. I have to buy a new one . So definitely will not buy this again .

my 3.6 v Ozito SDR-036 cordless screwdriver is fully charged but it will not operate. I pull the trigger but nothing happens. The torch light works as well as the battery check button showing full charge. Is this fixable? Thanks in advance. Neville
I'm afraid mine went the same way, the fault is either in the forward reverse switch or the drive motor has died. I junked mine and bought another cheap one. not as good as the chuck does not lock the tools in. Even an expensive Bosch does not have that function. Pity they are no longer made!
I need a battery charger for this device
My Ozito doesn't show charging lights and it is not functioning. I think the battery is run out. How can I get a new battery ? Is it available on Amazone ? What are the specifications of its battery ?
I have a ozito CD-R-013 12v cordless drill. The drill will not work. Could this be a faulty battery ? Or is it likely the drill is faulty? As we have tried to charge the battery fully, but drill still does not work.
I have scrapped my 12V Ozito drills as both Batteries I owned have gone U/S and will not hold a charge. They are Nickel cadmium types and are as such are prone to failure over time. They should have been constructed of at least Nickel Metal Hydride batteries as these are a superior type. As it is not economical to repack the batteries I have purchased one of the newer Types of drill with an 18V lithium Battery - a much more powerful type.
I have scrapped my (12V) 3.6Volt Ozito drill as it has gone U/S and will not work reliably. The main problem is in the forward reverse switch connection that was worn out. I have purchased a really cheap XU-1 as a replacement which is not as useful but will do for odd jobs
Recharging my SDR 036. Will the red light go out when it is charged?
On my model, the charging light does off when the internal battery is fully charged.
Yes, the LED turns off when the battery is fully charged. Note that it may take 5-7 hours for the battery to be fully charged.
I have o ozito SDR-036 cordless screwdriver but I need a charger for it I tried so many different chargers but they all didn't work
What type of charger do I need for it?
Thank you
Hi, you need a 6V dc 300mA adaptor. Jaycar should be able to help you but you'll be looking around $20. You can get a new screwdriver for less than $30 so I'd go that way.
Hope this helps.
