Hi, I am a mum to be and I was wondering which pigeon bottles you would suggest for a newborn as I am unable to breastfeed. Is pigeon bottles also compatible with the tommee tippee bottle warmer?

Hey Bel, I purchased at newborn as I only breastfed for a short while and still using at 13 months the Pigeon Flexible Slim Neck Teat and Bottle 240ml (I also suggest to get the 240ml bottles only as the smaller ones 120ml your bubba will grow out of quickly once the formula increases.

Teat: (https://www.pigeonbaby.com.au/collections/flexible-slim-neck-bottles-teats/products/peristaltic-slim-neck-teat-s-2pk).

Bottle: (https://www.pigeonbaby.com.au/collections/flexible-slim-neck-bottles-teats/products/slim-neck-bottle-240ml-pp).

Regarding the Bottle Warmer I am not sure as I never used one, I had always given my baby room temperature water with formula (boiled first and cooled on the bench) she had it that way from the beginning and I found that was easier than warming it up each time and saved a lot of time which you don’t have very much of.

Which test should be used for a 1 month old using thickener for reflux? We are having issues with teats getting blocked.

What’s the different between slim neck and wide neck? Which one is better?

Hi Yuliana, you will find my reply a little bit silly (maybe), anyways, slim neck from the word itself, they are slim and wide neck are wide giving you more space to put your formula. it doesnt really matter if you are using a formula dispenser. The slim neck, their body are slim in nature, might be easy to hold especially for newborn and wide are fatter but not as fat as the avent. using both with my little one is not an issue at all! They are both great!

Can a 1year old still use this kind of pigeon slim bottle?

Yes, except a one-year old might need the larger one which holds a bigger amount?

As long as the teat goes up in months to suit the age of your child
