Happy with the performance, but electrical cord gets twisted knotted all the time, therefore cannot clean where it should go, any suggestions? otherwise this machine is useless, because the cord will not allow the cleaner to go where it should go,, anyone with an answer for me, rang the company, did not get a sufficient answer, they said lay the cord out in the heat (does not solve my problem),expensive machine should not have trouble with the cord twisting all the time.

Have not had that problem. My cord is a floater.

I have had the Polaris for a while. Read some comments and can see your points. I have been happy with the job it does but just the other day it stopped. When I press the buttons for the cycle to start the lights on the panel alternately flash and nothing happens. Anyone else had an issue with this and how was it rectified?

hi

I have had that issue happen periodically as well. I just push the power on off button and then the start button again and that seems to reset it Cheers

One of the first things I tried. Will give it another go then might have to get in the experts. Thanks for the answers, appreciate it.

I have had the same issue. Polaris replaced the control box didn't help so they replaced the whole unit. Guess what? Yep it is doing it again after 3 months. Piece of crap.

Hi I'm Cam

I brought a 9300 about 2 months ago and it has just stopped.

When I turn it on the 2 setting LEDs turn on and thats it nothing.

Any ideas?

Hi Sorry to hear about that. The only time I have encountered this is when there has been a big storm and the pool is full of dirt and grit and sand that clogs the removable filter so enough water is being pumped through I would try thoroughly cleaning the filter and giving it another go. If that doesn't work you may have to take it back to your dealer.

Cheers

I bought the 9300 sports, and I was happy with it for the first 1month. Then I found one of the wheels had broken off. It took Zodia 4 weeks to repair it. I have had it back 2 weeks and the same thing has happend. I beleive its a design fault, the cord raps around the back wheel and snaps it off. The plastic wheel is paper thin at the point of the axle.

Hi

Sorry to hear about the wheel snapping off issue. I don't know what to advise as ive had my 9300 for 18 months now and haven't experienced anything like that. Do you leave it permanently in the pool?

Hi Tony, Yes I do leave it in the pool permanently. I have large gum trees hanging over the pool, so it was keep pretty busy. I took it to the pool shop yesterday and they are arranging for a Zodiac rep. to come to my house. I will let you know the outcome.

What's the difference Polaris 9300s compared to the zodac v3 4wd?

HappyGilmour

Hi, I am not sure but I expect it is just the newer model of the 9300s - however the 9300s does not have 4wd - only 2wd, so it may be a little better in avoiding obstacles. Sounds and looks very similar though.

Hope that helps.

It was a long time ago so I do not recall the reason at the time. I think there was a big price difference when I was shopping.

I have now been using mine for over a year and can highly recommend it. It works wonderfully.

the cleaner spends a lot of time climbing the walls is it possible to have it so it stays on the bottom of the pool where 90% of the rubbish is

Tony7912

Hi I usually only put it on the shorter cycle. This will cause it to only climb halfway up the wall, then drop back down and go in a different direction. I did find that it climbed the walls too much on the long cycle. Otherwise I'm not sure what else to suggest. I put it on once or twice a week and it leaves the pool pretty spotless except for a few stray leaves here and there.

Cheers

Tony

If you use setting "1" rather than "2" it will spend most of its time on the floor. Just press 1 when you power it on and that should help.
