Why does the Adi hose not make a firm connection to Aldi pool cleaner
Hi Terry .There may be some oil deposit on that part to make bad connection...Clean it and maybe even rough it up with a littlle sandpaper.Ernie
Thanks, but all spotlessly clean and I have tried 5 cleaners and 2 hoses, none fitted well, To try and pull the cleaner from pool, the hose leaves the cleaner behind. Sometimes when left in pool overnight the hose is found floating and the cleaner is on the bottom. There's about 1mm difference between the connecting pieces and it is not only recent. I've tried tape in the past but I'd like to know why. I m a nonagenarian and have had pools since Pontius was a pilot, and a bit puzzled now.
good afternoon I purchased a power force pool cleaner through marketplace on Facebook last week. It was in a brand-new box and the product was untouched. When I opened it. I have just put it in my pool and switched it on. It works that the white rim where the suction part is has come off and it has cracked and it is broken. It lasted 10 minutes. Can you please let me know how I can get another part for this please. It says one year warranty, but I don’t have a receipt because I purchased it through marketplace.

Poolset should have spares for the aldi cleaner.
Will this work on my pool? I have right angle walls and corners, will it be able to maintain suction to get around the tight corners?
HI Adam .Most likely it will lose suction on Sharp corners or even fall off. But it should climb the wall again and keep cleaning which may result in a irregular cleaning. Ernie

There are a number of contributing factors to getting these cleaners to clean the majority of your pool. They do have a tendency to find a favorite corner and get stuck, as well as follow the same loop pattern. It is a question of trial and error, adjust the suction, set the timer to short 10 or 15 minute intervals and spin the pool hose clockwise or counter-clockwise. These all have surprising results. I will say however given the simplicity of this cleaner it has responded well to these tweaks and after 2 years is still going strong. Much more than I can say about the zodiac I had.

Hi George , that is an easy one. Happened to me some time ago . Go to You Tube ask..how to replace the Diaphragm. Follow the instruction to remove the unit...clear the obstruction and reassemble. it is a 5 minute job. regards Ernie
The diaphragm I ordered on line does not fit properly. The original diaphragm did not have a ridge on the inside where the pipe and washer go. The one I was sent have a ridge and the washer doesn't hold onto the pipe and the pool cleaner won't work.
Will barracuda rubber disc fit an aldi creepy crawley
Having a barracuda disk next to the aldi cleaner I am tempted to say yes, identical down to the hole pattern. Can't really measure the precise aldi centre hole diameter without taking it off but it looks like around 110 mm diameter. Worth a try.
Who can provide a manual pls, as I lost mine. It stopped working :(

If the flow rate is OK and it won't work the diaphragm is either blocked or broken. Check out or email support@poolset.com.au.

I ordered diaphragms from aliexpress. They kind of work but in the end they don't. They need a much higher flow rate as they are stiffer. This also makes them noisy. I stick with the proper ones.
I have taken the platinum pool cleaner straight from the box and connected to the pool but nothing seems to happen. How fast should it go and was there anything I should have done before I connected to the pool. Thanks David

If it is connected to a hose and the right flow regulator it will run just fine. The flow regulator provides suction and flow rate. If either is out of a certain range it won't move. On mine the diaphragm broke after a few weeks though. Easy to replace but it should have lasted for years.

Hi Geoff The pleated Skirt helps with suction to keep the cleaner attached to the Pool surface.it is not connected to the cleaner body anywhere so it will not spin all the time. It may spin some time as it adjust itself to help attachment to the surface.
The hose fitting that conects to vacuum will not go back in can you help
Hi Frank Providing you still have the original fitting in place...they can be a little sticky. Try to spray a little vegetable oil on that fitting. Regards Ernie
My new Aldi pool cleaner worked well for a day. Then it started stopping when it came off the wall. The after sales support rep never seems to be available.

The suction is perfect. No blockages.
OK Bev...In that case, the yellow internal Diaphram is damaged or split. Replace it,....instructions are on U-Tube

why is platinum turbine suction cleaner twisting pool hose when running.
Lay it out straight in the sun for a day or two. Also make sure the hose is not any longer than it needs to be to reach the furthest corner of the pool. Might need a joiner to shorten it

Purchased a platinum automatic pool cleaner and find that it works intermittently perhaps 10 minutes then stops then starts again. Wanted to check that the diaphragm was not damaged but cannot unscrew any of the pipes above the blue flexi rubber flap that sits on the pool floor. Can you please help as this is very frustrating
