Where can I get a charger for ROC 18v drill ?

Hi all l have a ROK 18 V drill and impact that l purchased some 4 years ago , tgere is no charger for the set and price was $109.09 but that’s not the point . The set is green and the charger l am after is rounded with three ends . Model no 1502050478.. I have contacted heaps of places and the company in Korea has closed down this year . Any help l would appreciate, can’t use these tools without a charger

Hi, have a drill 18v Rok , it works on properly charged batteries. Can’t seem to charge my batteries. Perhaps ,I need a replacement charger. Anybody any ideas. Perhaps ,I lost the charger which came with the drill.

have you cleaned the contacts on the charger and the battery?, there might be some corrosion there preventing the current from passing through. A bit of light emery paper or at a pinch sandpaper will rub off this corrosion , if it's there.

I have a Rok Cordless Drill model number 150-19-50044 which has batteries that hold very little charge. I am finding it difficult to locate new Rok batteries to suit. Will batteries from an 18v Ryobi or Bosch or some other similar make work? They are the old type of battery which has a central insertable stem rather than the slide on model. Cheers Max

hi Richard H H squeeze both black buttons hard on battery in left hand , and slide drill back of battery . sometimes it sticks so you have to jerk it hard hope this helps cheers

Apparently very hard to find - even the distributors don't want anything to do with spares. So far my searches for batteries have had no good result, so I shall be attempting to pull apart the dead battery housing and replacing the cells. Most tools use a size called "sub-C" and these are available (in varying charge capacities) on the net. Note though that space is very tight in these housings, and a difference in thickness of the cardboard wrapping of the replacement cells can mean the difference between them fitting or not.

If that proves impractical plan B1 is to solder 2 wires to the drill's terminals and run it off a shoulder bag of 3x6volt rechargeable gel cells. Aldi sell half way decent battery packs for all their tools, and always seem to stock spares, so adapting one of them is plan B2.

If anyone finds a source of Rok replacements please publish it.
