I have a rover rancher 547 2020 model. With only 80 hours onnthe clock.Was running ok but now is running like the choke is engaged all the time. Black smoke loss of power, surging and using twice as much petrol. I replaced the spark plug but no real difference. Dlfuel filyer was replaced 6 months ago. I think it's a fuel issue. So what is my next step please. Any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks John
Ive been having engine troubles hopefully a simple one, but when I'm Just riding and not mowing the engine seems to be purging and I've changed fuel oil cleaned filter and changed plug also got a new fuel filter. Is it an easy fix or am I up for a few hundred to get someone to say we fixed it and $300 later

How do I register my mower for warranty
The mower was going and mowing well, then all of a sudden the motor stopped suddenly. Tried starting again, no sound, not turning. Electrical Fault, isolater or something else?
When did you last have it serviced? Check the basics like oil , electricals and connections to th battery itself. Also ensure the under seat safety hasn't permanently switched disconnected. Goid luck!

I have nearly new Rover Rancher 547/42 model mower. It worked well for 6 months, now it stops after running sometimes 50 or 40 or 30 or 20 minutes. I changed all the filters, plug and checked fuel tank cap.
did you work out what this was I am having a similar issue with my 420/38

Where do I hook the tension spring for the park brake back on as it has come off it is still attached on the main brake shaft that comes across but where the other end hooks to I am unsure because I can't see any tell tale sings of paint or where marks of where it may of hooked to

it is perfect for that size block as good as any ride on mower on slopes, they have a 5 year warranty but you would be lucky to need it as they are very reliable. There are no recurring problems. Good power and a good brand hydrogear transmission.

It is a very good mower, when working. Mine one some-times stops, then I let it cool or top up the fuel tank and starts well.
I have purchased this mower 1 month ago, it vibrates a lot, does not handle any thick grass, the steering went after a total of 5.5 hrs work, I have only done 5.5 hrs work in 6 weeks now & still waiting for the parts to come in for repair. Buy at your own risk, you’ll need the 5 year warranty to keep it working, my yard is flat gentle slop & it does not work well, I repaired my 30yr old mover to be able to cut my grass & it still works better than the new Rover.
