Lavazza A Modo Mio Simpla Questions & Answers

My Desea is brand new out of the box. The milk frother works but not very well - steam is escaping around the head and only some goes through the milk. Cannot make latte because not enough froth.

Hi i have the Lavazza A Modo Mio. However when i select free dose it stops of its own accord. Basically it does not fill the cup to my desired amount can you please help?

I have a lavazza moda mio. It is 5 or 6 years old. It’s just starting not putting all coffee into cup and some seems to go into empty pod container therefore making coffee weak as you have to keep topping up. Has it come to end of life or is there a quick fix?

The silver handle on top of the machine that you push down, to perforate the capsules, tends to pop up during coffee making. It seems to have some sort of “silting” in the hinge region?? Any ideas as to how to stop the handle popping up? / how to “de-silt” the mechanism?

Lavazza a modo mio model LM500 is only piercing some holes in coffee pod. Can this be fixed? Thanks in advance

Hi I've just drank 2 lavazza hot chocolate pods that expired 2 months ago is that really bad?

I can not get any water to flow with my machine. The red light stays on also. It’s a modo Mia machine. It’s the machine with the frothing wand. That is working. I’ve not had the machine that long.

There is no water flow through with my Lavazza Tiny (although the on/off switch light is illuminating as expected). The machine has not been used that many times so it doesn’t seem to be a descaling issue?

I received my Lavazza Desea machine today and the frothing wand is loose and won’t froth the milk. How do I tighten the wand?

I am new to this,, but followed instructionsfor my FANTASIA model carefully... milk out fridge etc temp .. correct level into beaker..and when I press for frothy milk ( and I've tried small med and large cup buttons ,, it overspills and comes out the top of beaker making a mess all over the counter top.. not a problem really but very annoying.. reading instructions it appears to say. press the off button. ?? find this a bit weird as it means the machine is OVER FROTHING. can I adjust the amount of frothing ???

When I opened the coffee pod drawer it was full of water?

My pods have started falling straight through to the discard box. Any suggestions? It’s now unusable :(

I have a a Lavazza a modo mio but cannot get it to descale. I am pressing the cafe lungo and cafe expresso buttons together but after 3 seconds either nothing or just one of the buttons lights up and pours out the solution. I cant get the 2 buttons to flash? any tips

The water is no longer coming through

I have had my lavazza Modo Mio for 2.5 years and it leaks a lot when I make a cup. I can see that I can buy a new "0". ring for the machine. Is it easy to fix for an average housewife?? EW

First of all I would like to say that we love our Lavazza a Modo mio coffee machine. This is our second one in 10 years period I would say. We never had a problem with the machine except now the when machine pours the coffee more coffee goes into the back tray where the coffee capsules go after use than in the cup. We descale it regularly. Can this be fixed? Thank you Dali

Hi I’ve followed the instructions for descaling and its stuck in this mode without starting to descale any way to get back to normal use reset. Any help?

LavAzza Amodo Mio (premium) machine. Read the instructions as per manual to prime the water circuit (ie) open knob right hand side press manual brew button and water should come out the steam/hot water wand. Very little comes out. Steady flow however coming out of the middle of the machine into the dregdrawer. If I pull the lever forward the flow transfers to the dispensing spout. All in all the machine seems to work fine, Just unsure if I have a problem that I should be aware of. Anyone else encounter the same as me?
