VerifiedMPNs: 1091007197, SM-A115FZKAXSA and SM-A115FZWAXSApurchased august last year my partner upgraded to the same with me as the sales assistant said it was a better phone and more storage etc, now both our phones don't work, mine started acting up last night, soon as I put it on it went off, so had to restart then got into say Facebook 1min then phone shuts down again, took back to Vodafone store in mandura forum where we purchased tonight, same thing happened in the store so she gave me a loaner phone which is out of the ark and no instructions how to set up emails etc got home and my partner said he would give me his phone while mine is getting hopefully fixed he went to turn his on and same issue both Samsung 11 both purchased the same day. what is causing this and is it fixable or have we both lost everything on our phones.
I never had this problem with my phone and I have had it for about 4 years now, Vodafone should be able to tell you the problem with it, but you have only had it for a year and it's doing that to not just 1 phone but 2 I would ask for an new phone or refund on them. Have you tried plugged the phone into a computer to see if you can get all your photo s and videos from it?
Hi Joanne I took the loaner phone back to the store and they refused to take it back,I explained I'm not using it so wanted to return it totally refused said I needed the paperwork which I got with the phone which I handed over, then it was no it's against company policy it's the paperwork that was sent with your phone to be looked at and that doesn't come back till your phone is back which made no sense so I'm stuck with it in a draw. I rang Vodafone and was told to go to a different store as they might have a better phone but as the store that gave me the loaner will not take back I can't do that. They spent a hour trying to get my partner's phone to work then told him to bring it back after the long weekend to send for repair but he insisted that sent it off today rather then trail back next week he's now using his old phone I didn't ask for a new phone or refund after how they reacted to just trying to give the loaner back it was going to be a waist of time they were vey clear nothing was going to be done till the phones were checked which could be up to two weeks.

Why didn't Samsung include the flashing notification light but instead uses the torch? If i don't see that torch go off, I would never know I even have a message. I don't want to install another app just for a flashing light. How hard would it have been to just included the standard flashing light that was on the older phones!!!!! I'm so frustrate with this phone.
And here I thought the flash wasn't working

For your Samsung account yes you can. If you want to use the phone to check mail then one of the devised will have to be primary (that is it downloads mail from the server) while the other doesn't.

No - the A11 has no NFC support.
Dont believe so, but some users maintain they can because A11 uses the magnetic strip technology. Haven't tried it myself sorry.
Can i make the ring tone last for longer so have more time to answer the call?

The ring time is determined by your service provider - you can contact them to extend that time, or you can do it yourself with the keypad
By the way Kathleen, I'm not with Telstra as a provider but their instruction in the link works with different phones and providers ... from experience
Can I download my text message history and other data from my samsung cloud account to this phone. I can't find the restore data option....
Hi Linda, I'm not sure. I use a 3rd party app to back up, restore or transfer messages. Samsung have a transfer app...Smart Switch (?) I think it's called. Sorry I can't be more help. Good Luck.
