Samsung ME6104ST1 (Stainless Steel) Questions & Answers
VerifiedMPNs: 36254737, 5487 and ME6104ST-1I can’t seem to find any answers about how to change the clock to 12hr. I can see several people have asked the same question and not received an answer.
Hi Deb. Unfortunately, there is no option to change the clock from 24hr to 12hr time on this model. We hope you understand.

HI just purchased this for my mum. She says she cannot see into it whilst its operating. Is there a film on the inside I shouldve taken off?? The light works when I open the door.
Hi Sue, No it is a woeful microwave and you can't see into it at all while you are cooking -- I hate the thing BUT it was the only one when I had to have one, if I can give it away I will get another -- it is also only 6 watts instead of the desired 12 watts so it also takes twice as long to cook
Hello! I would like an update on this microwave (if you still have!). My main concern is the ability to see the numbers/writing and ease of pressing? I just want it to be quick and efficient in this regard. I don't need to see inside of it like many others complain about, as I do not use for cooking, only a rare defrost of meat, heating up lunches from fridge and melting my chocolate or butter for my baking. I do like the idea of removing the beeping noise. I know it will take longer to heat up any cold food as not an inverter and lower wattage. My other option is the panasonic genius inverter 1100W 32L (to replace our current panasonic inverter genius of same size which has gone strong for 20 years but now has a bearing loose and is starting to smell) but it seems that the quality of this microwave has gone downhill terribly. Thanks for any help. Kind regards.
Hi, we just bought the ME6104ST1 microwave. Before using I decided to read the manual, only to find that this is supposedly a bench top only model! Nothing on the package or on display at the store to this effect. Our microwave location is an underbench niche, no doors, a decent gap both above and behind, with some space at either side. Our main use for a microwave is for cooking small amounts of vegetables or reheating leftovers, not for cooking comllete meals. Should I return it to the store? Had I been aware of this I would not have purchased this microwave.
Hi. I have the exact same problem. Did you keep the microwave in the end?
Bought this microwave recently but the internal light is so dim (or that the door tint is dark) that I can barely see inside . Not that I do due to the risk of corneal damage.
Does anyone have this issue?
Yes agree. It’s too dark but I put up with it because I can turn off the beeps. I haven’t found another brand that does that.
Hi!
I was wondering if you are able to see into the microwave while its cooking or is it too dark?
We just got a different model and realised we cant see in at all. This is only a problem because I use it for alot of things that can boil over easily so i like to be able to see! We are looking to swap to this one but wont if it has the same issue.
Thank you in advance!
Hi, we just bought the same microwave and have realised that we cannot see inside whilst food is cooking. The glass is too dark and the light is very dull. I thought this was a fault with our one until I read other people's reviews on different Samsung models so it seems they are just made this way! This is the first Samsung microwave we have owned.Bit strange.
