What is the highest number for a fast spin cycle

Mike

Hey Gunya, I just checked mine, all spin cycles take 20 minutes to complete, with 1400rpm being the highest spin cycle.

My sharp esv80ha washing machine wont start has a e01 message on the screen?

Mike
Mike

Mine comes up with that sometimes as well mate, it's means the door isn't closed properly, usually just have to give it a slight push and off it goes.

Hope this helps Janine.

Does the filter have a small net bag that catches the lint or not at all.asv80 ha model Lyn

Mike
Mike

No, it never came with one. I find that the lint gets wrapped around the filter plug in mine and I just rinse it off.

Hope that helps mate.

Can I spin dry only

Mike
Mike

You can John.

The spin setting is 180 degrees from the stop setting which is at the top of the setting dial, so directly below. The symbol looks similar to the@ symbol mate.

Hope this helps.

We have A Sharp ESV80HA machine. Is it possible to just do a spin cycle. I did put a jumper in to spin dry only after hand washing. I then selected the spin icon at the bottom of the dial, the machine showed 20 mins for some reason so I walked away. When I came back the jumper was nearly as wet as when it went in. The spin RPMs only showed 600. Is it possible to increase the speed and reduce the time?

Great machine never a problem until now.

Machine has stopped and reads 3 minute error on display. Turned machine off cannot open door.

Is this an easy fix?

Thanks

Hi, I had a similar issue and it turned out to be the pump which need to be replaced. Give the service people a call if it's still with the 2yr warranty period. If the door won't open and there is water in the machine, turn machine off at the plug and drain the water via the drain at the bottom right hand side of the machine. Once you do this the door will probably open and you can get the clothes out. Hope this helps, but give the Sharp Service Team a call anyway.

Thanks Gerry Over 4 yrs old so no warranty. Water in the barrel but was able to open the door after turning on again. The machine sounds like it wants to restart but now stops at 1 I will call the customer service and see what they suggest the machine stops at 10 on the 12 minute cycle.

I had this, and a hair pin was in the pump / filter. Once cleaned and removed it worked fine. If pump has been checked and filter it could be the electrics have failed in the screen display and need to be replaced which can be fixed.

Hi Sharon

Kudos to you and thankyou

Yes it was a foreign object in the filter. Once removed not a problem.

Have a great weekend.

I bought this machine roughly a year ago. Recently when it finished washing there was always half load of water left in the machine! I had to try the clothes manually which was annoying. Any ideas how to get it fixed? I couldn't find the receipt anymore.

Have had machine for around a year and am very happy with it. Over the last 2 weeks, the fabric softener compartment is full with water at the end of each cycle which spills when I open the drawer to put the powder in for the next load. (I haven't used any softener during this time but have for around 1 in 10 loads in the past). I physically removed the water once but it refilled the next wash. What do I need to do to address this as I can now no longer put in fabric softener if I want to due to the compartment being full of water.

Hi Linh, The ESV80HA washing machine is supplied with a single (cold) water inlet, however please note there is an integrated heating element on the cold water inlet which lets you choose a washing temperature between 30°C - 95°C as well as a cold wash setting.
