I had the same problem and so went to a local seamstress who whipped up several very pretty (and very simple) inserts which sit over the top. Problem solved! They’re a double layer of thick material with generous spaces for the straps to fit through. Simply over the seat, not the armrests. Hope that helps someone.
Hi we have been given a Steelcraft high chair that is great condition except for the padded insert is cracked on the seat area. The cat n.o. is 31339 and batch number is 11 2014. I am looking for a replacement cover for a very old high chair. From googling it looks very the Messina DLX Hi-Lo High Chair or maybe the Steelcraft Messi.
The only info I have on it is on the tab. It says Britax, the Cat no. 31302 and the batch no (04 09).
Any info on where to get a replacement cover would be appreciated. It is a family heirloom at this stage!
