Had a twister saw for about 18months, hardly used. Went to use it recently and it spins for about 2-3 seconds then shuts off. Then the lights start flashing red and green. Is it totally broken?

Replace the resistance with a 390 Ohm one, and scratch away the glue from the electric parts. Mine had a same issue, I did what i wrote and works fine.

Good afternoon. I require a set of collets for my "Twist-a-saw" as only one is still usable. The machine has had very little use so the loss is very disappointing. The product was purchased from "TV Shop" here in New Zealand. Can you please supply price and availability or a matching product.

Regards Gary Lincoln

Largest Collet broke on mine after 1 use, yep, 1 use, no replacement parts anywhere.. Its not my first time using a power tool so I'm careful and they just seem too cheaply made to last. Very disappointing! Bought off ebay.

I just went to use my twist a saw for the first time and it spins for about 2 seconds then shuts off. I purchased it through the tv commercial here in South Australia about a year ago and hadn't been able to use it due to health issues hence why it's only just been tried for the first time. Iam going to say that there must be a fault with the overload switch because it starts fine at any rpm selected and sounds fine then shuts off. I watched the instructional video on you tube which didn't help me then read the comments and seen a few people have had the same issue but no resolution answers to solve the problem. Is there a replacement control board to fix this problem that's offered ? And I am a electrician so fitting the new board is no problem I just need the part so look forward to hearing back from you soon cheers

Did the tvshop team ever provide the parts you needed? Some Reviewers who needed replacement parts were contacted by tvshop customer service. They offered to “look for parts”. Wondered how helpful “customer service” ultimately was.

I bought the Twist a Saw around Christmas last year. Today I wanted to use the fexible rotary tool attachment but there was no suitable sized collet for attaching the shaft tail to the motor's spindle. Where can I get that?
