We have used Trimat Advanced for a long time. Recently the large 5kg box was only available in Trimat Advanced Sensitive which I bought. It seems from that point on, my grandson got terrible itchy lumps then trouble breathing over a few weeks. The only thing we could think of was the different detergent. How can I find out the difference in ingredients please? There have been no issues since we stopped using the Sensitive detergent - so consequently 1/2 box unused.

I have been using Trimat Advanced for some time and due to Choices review. I have become concerned as some of my clothes and sheets are drying and look all motely unsure why. I will try dissolving the powder first for a while and see if this helps. Just wondering if anyone else has recently had the same problem. The sheets are just motley In places but the t shirt s are bad. I am soaking them in gentle handwash at the moment in hope it helps. Thanks Linda

Is the trimat concentrated laundry liquid suitable to use with septic systems
Yes. When used at the recommended or lower dosage it is safe for septic and grey water systems. I haven't had any problems with septic systems at two different residences.

Is Aldi Trimat Laundry powder suitable for use on our garden after the washing is finished. That is, are the phosphate levels low enough so as to not damage plants? If not, can you recommend laundry powder that is safe to recycle in the garden ? Thank you, in anticipation.

I found that trimat detergent doesnt dissolve. I have to mix it with hot water before putting it in the machine. I bought it on special but wont buy it again. I am using one scoop for a wash but wont buy it again.

I have had some VERY disappointing results from Trimat Advanced Colour Care laundry powder, I have a top loading machine and wash with Cold water, my problem is this powder has severely damaged a collection of my Bed linen and several towels, the problem is these articles now have bleach spots dispersed across the articles which is incredibly disappointing, I had used this product previously too this occurring and have been a loyal and very satisfied customer of Aldi prior to this problem, but I am extremely unhappy seeing that I called Aldi and didn’t receive a satisfactory response, only reflecting the problem because I couldn’t supply the box that this product came in, I always put the washing powder into a sealed container after purchase. The Aldi representive used this information to take NO accountability which is extremely disappointing, I have been a very vocal advocate of Aldi,but when I have had a important problem to report they haven’t reacted in a suitable way. Shame Aldi.
I also was disappointed with trimat washing powder. I have a front loader and the powder doesn’t dissolve properly and there is always some left in the dispenser which has never been a problem with other washing powders
I have been using Aldi Trimat for a few months now and have found the same thing. I have a top loader and wash in both warm and cold water. A set of towels are ruined and some clothes have bleach marks. I have even dissolved powder in warm water before adding to machine but still get bleach marks. Weird thing is that it's not on everything in the same load. Won't be buying again regardless of what Choice, etc says! Has ruined my clothes!
Bought Trinat, frontloader has cajed up residue, tipped a full box of sensitive out, now going to bin the rest, not sutable for frontloader
What has happened to the scoop? It wasn’t included in the last box & I thought it was a mistake. The new box opened today doesn’t have a scoop either!
Can it be used with a septic tank?
I know trimat is environmentally friendly product however the issue is more the fillers in products i.e. clay form that propose issues for sceptic tanks. Go for the trimat liquid washing detergent, and generally liqyid forms as they dont have fillers. And avoid anything corrosive. Trimat is not a corrosive product.
where can I buy Trimat tablets?
I suggest best stick to liquid washing products. Power can gunk up your washing machine. Trimat is not a good product. Washing never smells fresh
What exactly are the ingredients of this powder? I developed a terrible rash especially where clothes where close fitting. I have had to take pednisone to stop the rash even though I stopped using this.

We have an envirosep system, which relies on good bacteria, I am not an expert on septic systems, but I have used this aldi product for absolutely ages, our system performance is great and the water results clear.
Why does the Trimat powder 2017 have a scoop that is twice the size of the old scoop from 2016?
Good question. Because it is not as concentrate as they have you to believe. Reason why the product has more in it in comparison to Omo. It does not even leave a fresh smelling odour like some other brands do. I would use it again. There are other better and equally priced products out there.

Hello Janice, we have an enviro septic system and have been using Trimat front loader powder for years, without any problems.

Has anyone experienced using the trimat powder for front loader mixed with the aldi fabric softer to be be bleaching items?
I don't use fabric softener, have never needed to use this with the Aldi Trimat front loader powder.
