Dometic Waeco CF Series Questions & Answers

This CF-50 has only been used occasionally since new and always performed perfectly. Today I plugged it into the mains and it failed to start, showing the Er2 message. I also plugged it into my vehicle - same result. Can anyone tell me the steps to take to identify the problem. Thanks.

My CF-50 has been used very infrequently since new. Today I plugged it in to the 230V supply and got the Er2 message. I then plugged it into my car but got the same error message. What are the steps to identify the problem. Thanks.

My cf40 turns on and off on 240v ac but works perfectly on 12v dc what could be the fault? Please help.

I have a cf50 12/24v waeco , few issues not to sure which one is actually the issue . Fridge works on a fully charged battery /solar panel for about 24/30 hours then seems to be flashing through not been able to be set on a temp then freezers up . Then recently I had a little play round with it , red switch is on side is on low and now the turbo switch is flashing and same thing won’t let me set the temp . Seems to be constantly running .Have asked around and was told it could be sensor or the thermostat? Any ideas as its quite old .(FYI the panel doesn’t have an actual temp display just a level to pick -7 light indicator ) Thanks

Why would you get moist on the outside of my fridge

My cf 50 is set at -18 with ice cream in it and although it is frozen now it only shows -13 although it is set at -18. Any ideas?

Hi, replaced control panel [ 7 led light type] and new thermistor working fine until reaches desired temperature, wont come back on. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Freeze option stopped working as if went into defrost mode could not manually set lower temp

My cf 50 fridge has been fantastic since I got in 2020. We are camping at the moment & the fridge keeps stopping. I pull the plug & reset the battery box & off it goes for another 5 minutes til it stops again. I have never had any problem before. Would like to know if someone can help me out. Cheers Darren T.
