Hi, we have one of these fridge /freezers, I'm looking for the 2 big door bins that hang off bottom of the doors, ours broke and won't stay on. Can anyone help with where I can purchase 2 of the bins please Also any suggestions after 8months old the freezer started to leak water out on the floor luck it's tiles we have been leaving a towel on floor day /night. Harvey Norman was very unhelpful when we were looking for support.. Fridge is now approx 5yrs old I'd say still has permanent towel on floor. But I need the bins please.

Hi Sammy, For spare/replacement parts or repairs, it would be best to give Arisit Technical Support a call on 1300 762 219 to see if they have the freezer bins available and if they can do something about the leaking freezer. Regards

My Whirlpool French Door Fridge has a thick layer of ice on the base of the freezer. First occurred a few weeks ago, emptied and defrosted it, now it's back. Any thoughts? RH

There is a small pipe which runs from the bottom of the freezer to allow water which accumulates to drain off to a heating pad where it is evaporated. However, Whirlpool has installed a small rubber valve at the end of the pipe in order to prevent warm air returning into the freezer compartment. When the weight of the collected water is high enough, the valve opens and lets it run out. With time, this little valve becomes gummy and does not open. Do not clean the valve. Just remove it. It is not needed. Then use a hair drier to defrost the ice accumulated in the freezer. It is important to use low heat and to move dryer back and forth slowly so as not to concentrate too long on one area since the plastic case of the freezer will melt if it gets too hot. When the water begins to flow through the pipe, it indicates that defrosting is complete. Access to the pipe is easy by simply removing the metal panel at the back of the fridge and you will see the drainpipe.
