Front screen stopped working... how do i fix it?
I do not text often. Via manual worked out how to alternate from Alphabet/numeral by pressing # for a few secs. When texting went from Alphabet to numeral, now locked in numeral and will not change back to Alphabet by holding down # as shown in manual. If I hold down # the alphabet selection setup shows - just will not swap between Numerical back to alphabet text. Any hints?
Was about to buy another ph. and on advice that it may be a soft-ware problem I took notes on settings/data/contacts stored and then reset the ph. back to factory setting and so lost all data. I then tested it & found that my texting problem was resolved, it again easily swapped between Alphabet & numerials. Then re-entered contacts & data & settings. It was actually a 're-boot' which often fixes SOME problems with computers etc........ Phew!

My T21 fails intermittently to send or receive calls...one minute it is working, the next it's not. Other times it will send calls, but wont receive... Any suggestions?
After extensive investigation, we have discovered it’s because the inbuilt antenna is very weak, so only picks up the signal in the strongest signal area... (battery lasts no time too)...Can’t use mine in certain rooms in the house... shows only one or no bars on the reception gauge... but in other areas it’s ok... The other phone, a Telstra Essential Pro is fine ... I’m tossing the T21 and buying another Telstra Essential. Have a look for a phone with a strong unbuilt antenna.

yes you can, but i would look for a better phone. it is aimed at older people but is unnecessarily complicated for some reason. should never have been put on the market
You can and I did but I found I could not transfer the card from it to a smart phone and make it work. I was told it is because the card is not suitable for online use. Some are by mine isn't. Oh before any of this I had my old one piece card with my original phone number (the number I still use) swapped for the type that can be broken into 3 parts. Telstra shop did this for me. Then I took the outer piece of the card off to finish up with just the midsized one that fits the telstra flip phone. I managed to restart my own number again after not using it for 3 years despite being told at the telstra shop that I could not do it. (really they just couldn't be bothered and asked me to buy a new phone instead) I have used the telstra flip phone for two years now and have had no problems with it.
would this be suitable for my disabled aunt who is like a little kid? We've had issues with heaps of phones and just trying to find one that's simple and all she can do is text and call?
It answers a call simply by opening it and ends call by closing it. It is set that way from new so no need to find the commands to make it work that way. It took me some practice to send an sms so it may be a struggle for some to use it. Tapping the volume control has made the speaker work, and you can turn it off this way too. Hope that helps. Saving contacts is a little confusing because I rarely use that. Typing a phone number and pressing the green key is how I usually use it.

I am enquiring about the T21 flip phone. Is it 4G? Also, what is the expected battery life? My current 3 Year-old small Telstra phone charges is less than an hour and with my normal usage of calls and texts usually goes for over 2 days. I have tried some other brand flip phones and found they have very limited batteries. Can I buy a T21 from a store - or only online?

Hi my wife had a stroke I bought a flip 2 phone from Telstra the is no manual we downloaded one very confusing she just wants to send a photo she has in phone to another one can you help me please
Here is what I do. Put the number you want to send to in the contacts list. Push top left button to show lists, pick one with a click of central button, push central button once again then click top left button which shows some options, click the top one "send message" then type your text then click top left button and choose insert attachment by clicking on it with central button, then some options are shown, picture, capture picture and video, choose one option with central click and click on picture you want then with one more click of central button the picture will be sent.
