Fire and insurance issue AVOID THIS PRODUCT – Bulbs burn and melt plastic. Causes unit to come apart. Spring coil connection to plastic clips is flawed. This unit will cause a fire and should be allowed to be sold . Be aware of house fire potential .

Foolish design - giving it to the op shop – I have a white Heller HIM10 ice making machine which was gifted to me 3 or 4 years ago. It has a plug at the bottom of the water holder which is… Read more

meant to allow you to empty the machine by sliding it out from the benchtop and holding a bowl underneath the drain hole, or just placing the edge of the machine over the sink. However, the little plastic tab on the plug is so tiny that it's impossible to get a good enough grip on it to pull the plug out! Therefore, to empty it, I have to lug the machine over to the sink and turn it upside down to let the water run out. As the manufacturer's instructions include the proviso that it's not meant to be turned upside down, this is scarcely satisfactory. I have emailed Heller a few times but received no reply. I'll be ensuring nothing made by Heller enters my home again.

Heller cheaped out on this downgraded unit. Disappointment plus+ – Shame that Heller went and cheaped out. Not the same as previous TRUSTED model. No improvements here. New model is light & flimsy. Big deal it has… Read more

wheels, it feels unsafe. No more on/ off button - now you scroll dial to highest point to engage fan. I used to highly recommend but now only say AVOID BUYING TO AVOID TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT. Heller brand never buy again, just stare at it with contempt for ripping customers off and loosing customers. Reviews and word of mouth CAN help other buyers from making the mistake of BUYING this heater unit and not being unhappy.

At last, a quiet exhaust fan – I bought this ceiling exhaust fan to replace another Heller fan, model HEX250L, that was unacceptably noisy. It does not have a light, but I did not… Read more

need that. This "250" fan has three blades and a 34 watt ball bearing motor. The noise level is the best I have found so far for a "250" fan, yet the rated volume output is good. This model may be hard to find as it is not available at a major retail hardware chain.

With its power lead, DIY installation is easy if you already have a socket installed in the roof space for a fan. If not, you will need an electrician. If you are replacing an existing "250" fan, note that this fan requires a 300mm round cut-out, whereas many others only require 290mm.

Providing it lasts, I am very happy with this unit.

Performance is terrible – Does not work well for extracting steam from our bathroom/shower. Very quite. I am now replacing with something else. This is suitable for a single… Read more

toilet area as is quite and could slowly extract the air without everyone hearing that someone has visited the room. Not recommended for shower area where steam is to be extracted. Electrician said it was difficult to install.

replaced it with another Hellier Fan. Now another 2 years later and this one has packed up. Do I have anything nice to say about Hellier Exhaust fans? NO. Would I now buy another one? NO. I will be looking for a replacement brand.

It's what you expect for a mini cooler – Bought this evap cooler for $29. I'm actually pretty happy with it. Has 3 fan speeds (although not much difference in speed and noise) lights you can… Read more

This worked great for four weeks, and then died. (Usage: only 1 hour a day, 3 days a week) It doesn't really heat the room, but it is nice when you sit next to it.. that is.. while it is working.

Very easy to use, however half of the kernels weren’t popped. Even with a large bowl, popcorn was being popped onto the bench and floor. The photo shows how many kernels weren’t popped.

This has lasted under 3 years. When I contacted Gaf repairs . They claim it would be cheaper to buy a new one. We do not have any spare parts. This has hardly been opened as it is simply what it is described as a bar fridge. Never by this brand

dont waste your money – purchased one of these two weeks back and after using it twice i have concluded that this product is just useless to keep anyone cool on a hot day.… Read more

The amount of mist generated is way too little to have any effect at all and even the fan itself is too slow to provide the expected effect. Quality and operation is good but it just doesnt do the job.

warm in 5 -15 min normally. Not really sure on auto cut off and restart start. Auto cut off works but have not seen it start back again when the temperature goes down. That is my only disappointment. It is a bit noisy for its small size. It is light weight with a decent size cord. For the price paid, it is very good for heating small rooms.

won’t work unless it’s upright. So then it is a game of putting teatowels under it to get it to balance so it won’t automatically turn itself off. Useless waste of money.

it for 6 weeks a night this summer it has developed a rattle and whining noise when oscillating. I’ve examined it but can’t see any reason why it would suddenly rattle. The only thing I’ve done to it is give the slats at the back a dust. Wouldn’t bother sending it back as it would cost more in postage tha it’s worth. I can still use it, but only in a fixed position.

our fridge or other freezer. If you pull on the door, the entire freezer moves. You have to use two hands, one to hold the unit and the other to open the door. OR, use your thumb as leverage, which is not great if you have hand problems/pain, or for a child. The drawers do NOT 'glide' on tracks, they rest on shelves. Therefore, they are sometimes awkward to pull in and out when full. The drawers can be removed totally if you like just shelves. I'll be interested to see how much ice, if any, accumulates over time.

You Get What You Pay For – We purchased this heater on May 8th, 2019, and absolutely loved it. Perfectly suitable for our undercover patio area. But, the pull cord failed and could not be repaired. No more heating. Lasted a year and a bit. Sadly, a throw-away item.
