As part of the promotion, I was offered no annual fee for the first year, they charged me an annual fee

No balance transfer fee. They charged me that too. Then when I made repayment, they charged me a fee for making a repayment, crazy! AFCA needs to look into their dodgy operation.

me the payment hadn’t been made - EVERY time I call their first response is the money hasn’t been paid, even though when they start digging into my file they find the payment. I have called 28° at least three more times than the following, from here I started taking notes: - 9th October - Spoke with manager and gave my new BSB and Account details to be paid into. Still not paid. - 20th October - will call back; no call back. - 24th October - Spoke to [Name Removed]; to email back office “high importance” and call back in 5/10 business days.

I do not recommend this product, and I actually think they’re trying to wear me out to steal my money. Beware.

Then he said he was doing the contract and would be there on that day. Low and hold it wasn't and again chasing him. Then came monday still chasing him. paid it out having a nil balance owing. There was always a small admin fee each month previously being charged.

Then one day I had a reminder notice sent to me.

When I questioned this I was informed that Latitude had implemented a $10.95 fee each month whether you had anything owing or like me, a nil balance. There ended up being 3 months worth of fees totalling $32.85.

I complained and they removed the fees and I closed my account.

Recently I found that my credit file was affected by this and showed I had two months where I hadn't paid. I now need to dispute this listing on my file.

To be honest you'd probably be better using another payment option that did charge interest as it would work out cheaper than using this 'no interest' account.

Latitude is a scammer charging exorbitant interest and fees which could only be translated into usury - there is no corresponding interest rate capable of being calculated. Consequently they burn their return customers who cost them nothing in admin and seek out new customers who drive the business into a spiral of poor returns. PICKPOCKETS
