Customer Service My husband and I were very happy with the customer service at Nick Scali. We came to the store not long before they were meant to close, however, never tried to hurry us or made us feel hurried. We already did a bit of shopping around for a sofa set before we came to Nick Scali, so we knew what we wanted. We were fast at picking the model. Before finalising the purchase - the store had already closed at this stage - we were not sure what colour to pick. I was indecisive about the Grey and Beige colour, the Salesman could not help in this aspect, but he brought over the Manager, who was very friendly and we could tell he was happy to help, which was nice, considering we were holding them back at work. We showed the Manager the colour of our floorboard, he consulted us about how light colour would open up a room while dark colour would close the room up. As I was more inclined to the Beige, he assured me it would suit our floorboard. Even though I was happy to go with the Beige, they were willing to let me bring home the fabric palette, overnight, so I could compare the 2 colours against my living room colour scheme to see how well they match, and they were happy to fix the colour selection for me after I finalise my decision, but I was fine with the beige so I just finalised the purchase on the spot. They said it would take up to 14 weeks to manufacture the couch. They provided the ETA upon finalising the paperwork. A few weeks before the ETA, they knew that they would be running late, so they contacted us to let us know the updated ETA. We appreciate the timely update. On the day of the delivery, the 2 delivery men asked us where we wanted the sofa and which side we wanted the chaise to be on, then they just went about and very swiftly completed the assembling for us. The whole customer service was very good.
Sofa set The set that we purchased comprised of the 3-Seat Electric Recliner With Adjustable Headrest + Chaise and 3-Seat Dual Electric Recliners With Adjustable Headrests. These are fairly large in size, and each would comfortably fit 4 healthy-sized adults. We like that the design is quite neat, classy, and minimalistic and the light brown wooden legs compliments nicely with the colour scheme of our open-plan dining and living area.
Functionality As the name says it, one sofa has one recliner while the other has two. We chose this sofa because the headrest can be adjusted, as this is a must-have criterion for me. The headrest on the recliners can be automatically adjusted while the headrest on the chaise and middle seat has to be manually adjusted. I like that the headrest can be adjusted as far as completely vertical. The mechanic of the recliners is very solid, and sturdy, and transitions very smoothly into recliner mode.
Fabric I wanted a biege color to visually open up the living room, the fabric and colour that I chose was Ancona and A 2071 Natural. I like everything about this couch, but minus one star because the fabric is not of very good quality. My husband and I work fairly long hours, we also spend minimal time in front of the TV - often that would be when we use the couch. We only had the couch in mid-March of 2023, this year, but we noticed that the fabric already has noticeable lint after having it for 6 months, the fabric thread also comes undone on its own.

fixed. My new table is now covered in scratches (you can see them all when light is on them). Trying to use placemats to limit the scratches caused by plates, bowls etc. Customer service advised the care spray would fix the issue, but no spray fixes this. Very disappointing.

scratches. I know there is a protective film to protect against staining but it is so soft that even light use with placemat protection the surface is getting damaged with fine and deep scratches. When I purchased it I asked about the durability of the surface and was reassured by the salesman that it was a strong finish. The customer service team have looked at it and have told me that there is no scratch protection with these tables. As I have only had this table for a short time I hate to think what it is going to look like in a couple of years.

purchased their protective spray. I said I don't want anything high maintenance for a dining table and if you have to use spray, then I don't want the table. She followed me walking off and said the table was easy to clean, practical and would be okay, she told many lies by assuring me that the table doesnt mark easily and eventually sold me the $1500 table, she even talked me into buying the $50 spray. I sprayed the table with two coats as soon as I got it. And surprise surprise the table is beyond high maintenance and has weird marks and textures on the table. I have hardly used the table because I was to scared to and already it has marks on it. I was lied to, the table is not fit for purpose, you can't use it to simply dine at, even with protective spray, placemats, coasters and a table runner. Do not buy this table, save your money and don't listen to the salespeople, complete lies to get the sale.

My first review was related to this wool carpet I had purchased that must have been stored or transported incorrectly, and smells damp and moldy.
The service representative that came around told me HE cannot smell anything, even though to me it is very strong and obvious. The carpet is spotless to look at however. I explained I was not after a free clean, as it clearly doesn't need one from a visual point of view. I wanted it deodorized or anything to remove the smell. He said that since he could not smell anything, this was my issue, and I could pay for that myself, but he was going to write this complaint off. This is NOT the service I expected from this company. The rug was brand new, and smelt bad from the day it arrived. Why did they even bother to make contact with me? Was it to look good online?
But how do you argue smells? It is not like I can send photos as proof. One nice thing that Nick Scali could also take the initiative on, is ask your agents to please remove their shoes when entering peoples homes. I have all my shoes at the door, so my carpets stay clean. It is very awkward to ask agents to kindly take theirs off. It had also just been raining.

43FJ003 - LIBRA TV UNIT 240x60x40 WHITE GLOSS (TV 1901) Total cost: $3,780.00 On or about 1 December, 2023, the buffet collapsed due to what we believe to have been a construction/manufacturing problem in that; 1 - The end walls of the buffet do not rest on the top side of the buffet base, but are attached to the ends of the base. 2 - The side and base are supported by a small metal plate secured by two screws into the base and a further two screws into the bottom face of the side boards of the buffet. The problem is that the screws are almost aligned up with the join between the base and side boards which makes for very poor support. This caused the considerable weight of the buffet to be transferred through to the metal plates which couldn't take the weight and failed, collapsing the buffet. Photographs supplied to Nick Scali. Nick Scali's warranty pages do stipulate that they have a two year warranty for manufacturing problems and therefore dismissed outright our claim without any further investigation. I would have thought that the Nick Scali brand be synonymous with quality and integrity, but perhaps not and to just dismiss our case outright is to somewhat tarnish their good name. I would suggest to get down on your knees and check the construction methods prior to any purchase because if we had have known of this construction method, the buffet would not have been purchased. We failed to check. Unsatisfied with the product.

minimal use. The mattress is extremely uncomfortable due to large cushions under bed when pulled out. You also have the bar stick into you. Have put multiple toppers on mattress and rotate mattress before each use, but does not help. Given up now and put it down to an extremely expensive mistake. Very disappointed.

appearance. At first glance, it looks like a premium piece of furniture — but that illusion quickly fades once you experience everything that comes after.
The problems began with the delivery: careless, rushed, and utterly unprofessional. Assembly was a disaster. The legs were damaged during setup, and the table was left improperly put together. I contacted customer service, hoping for a remedy. What I got instead was a weak attempt at a “repair” — no replacement of damaged parts, just some chamfering to cover up the flaws. Essentially, they took a brand-new, expensive table and slapped a Band-Aid on it.
Fast-forward a few months, and the structural issues became even more apparent. Despite its weight, the table wobbles with the slightest pressure. It’s as if the base isn’t properly engineered to support the heavy top. Whether this is a design flaw or just poor assembly is unclear — but either way, it’s unacceptable for something in this price range.
Bottom line: This table is all style and no substance. Between the subpar service, damage during delivery, lackluster repairs, and questionable stability, I strongly regret this purchase. For $3,000, you expect quality. What I got was a headache.

the chair has snapped and i contacted the store and was told that the chairs have been discontinued. I was hoping that such a reputed brand would at least have a repair warehouse or something. I have escalated the issue with Nick Scali, but nothing has come out of it. I would say don’t waste your money buying expensive furniture that does not have at least 5 yrs of structural warranty.

thought it will be added my go master card account and took money from there because I have go master card balance $8000. Onward, service man did not tell me anything. After 24 months, card took 34% interest from me and I was shocked, Called them, they explained to me and told me service person should tell me that. Anyway, after that I went to Wiley park Harvey Norman (bought it here), ask about that and another guy asked money for any other services. He told its not their fault its my fault also said I signed a document regarding it. Told me why I did not read it through. Then I told him I did not sign any paper when I bought . He said he will show me that paper after 1 week. It's been more than two week still he did not call me.

ended up at Nick Scalli in Lilydale and found what we felt was the perfect package. The salesman was terrific, the product very cool and the price, well, acceptable. I wish we could have purchased a $9000 suite for $4000 but that was never going to happen!
In any event, we combined the full leather and electric lounge with an array of concrete topped tables and TV cabinet, and I have to say that I am over the moon with the result.
The lounge suite is super comfortable and of excellent quality.
The salesman went through everything we could ever want to know including variations on the type and quality of leather, leather treatments and so it goes. Also, given the high cost involved, they had no problems gifting us with a comprehensive leather warranty (for life) and pamper kit.
In the 7 months since purchase, the suite hasn't worn in the slightest.
Anyone after a contemporary lounge suite need go no further than this.

they replaced the table without any fuss each time however we are disappointed with the quality of the table even though the one we have now is in perfect condition. The table marks easily and the paint surface chips easily. Our table is the white version. We love the design. The RR price is $1000 however we got our table at the 30% off sale. We love the fact that the table has no legs. The middle base is excellent and means no one bangs their legs getting in and out. The surface is beautiful however it marks easily. Most marks wash off however the table also chips easily. We had the table for less than two weeks and it had two chips in the top of it.
