Poor quality product with no after sale support – Cot arrived and we went to set it up, comes in about 16 pieces and little to no instructions. Not to worry well will go online and watch the video.… Read more
Video differs differs from the product delivered.l but struggled through it and got it setup. Mattress is permanently deformed as a c shape and a suffocation hazard to the child and product is very unstable. Have reached out to Phil and teds but customer service don’t offer any help, just imply it’s not their problem and not their baby. Would avoid this brand, don’t even have a contact number to call for issues. Very disappointed that’s a product that’s about $50 in parts retails for $450 and has no after sale support and company won’t follow their own policy, email is just copy paste response
Love it – Lovely high chair, easy to pull apart and clean, light when moving around, I love that it can convert into a little chair when kids are older and aren’t using a high chair anymore
Don’t recommend Lobster Portable Highchair and Standard Highchair – I had to replace a portable highchair that we used daily. I decided to buy the Phil and Teds Lobster portable highchair due to the clamps being able… Read more
to open wider than most other brands which means it can be used on tabled with thicker bench tops.
Unfortunately, this highchair has a major design flaw. The seat is really deep and the result is that my 20 month old has to lift her arms up over to get to her food.
Going from something that was loved daily - she would sit at the breakfast bar and eat while I prepare or cook, to refusing to sit in it longer than 5 mins.
I also bought the P&T regular highchair second hand and it’s also really annoying… the legs ogf the highchair is splayed out and you constantly walk into it. It hurts and it’s annoying.
It seems like this company gets one thing right of their product like bigger clamps or a higher with a rubber anti-slip seat, but then has other really bad flaws with it.
Couldn't live without it – My 8 week old loves this... Makes transfers to pushchair perfect... And she sleeps so soundly in it. Perfect all year round as you can leave it open.… Read more
When it's hot or zip it up with a blanket when super cold. This is probably suitable until baby is perhaps 16/20 lbs
It doesn’t fit me – It look okay but it’s hard to put the baby in and out. It doesn’t have a picked the the mum can reach when carrying the baby. It pulls on your shoulders and it gives me a headache. The weight isn’t distributed well and instead heavily on shoulders
Good at first. Didn't last – The pram was great at first. Easy to turn, one handed operation. The zip broke the first time we used it. The sun visor never sat straight. The… Read more
fold-down clip snapped at about 6 months. All these were non-terminal problems, however, the wheel (suspension) has failed and has bottomed out, and this is a non-warranty component. The stats show it's rated to 25kg for single seat operation and an additional 15kg(?) for the second. We only used the one seat / one child who maxed out at 17kgs. Clearly under-engineered cheap junk in fancy clothing. I recommend avoiding Phil & Ted products.
Terrible manufacturing errors affect performance – We tried one on in the store and bought another colour. When we tried it on at home the fit was totally different with our sons head way too far back… Read more
even with the straps as tight as they go. We took it back to the store and found the straps were different lengths. Phil and teds have refused to refund us claiming this difference is a variance. Our sons head sits about 8cm further back, which in turn puts massive strain on the wearers back. Phil and teds have been rude and unhelpful. We will not buy from Phil and Ted or associated brands again!
I love that this pram adapts to my needs and even fits into my Mazda 2! – We bought this pram when it hadn't been on the market for very long so there weren't any reviews yet, but I'm so glad we did because it has been… Read more
perfect for our needs.
It is in the more expensive bracket for a pram but the clever design has actually saved us money in the long term. The main seat converts into a bassinet so you don't need to buy a separate attachment. It's a convertible twin buggy so when we have a second child, we will be able to add a second second seat.
One of the best features of the pram is how slim line it is despite its size; it is a big pram with a large basket underneath which is perfect for shopping! I have done a week's worth of groceries with this pram, easily fitting in shopping bags and my nappy bag. It folds very quick and easily and it fits into the boot of my Mazda 2!
It is a very good quality pram; it's a dream to push and it doesn't feel cheap or flimsy. I've walked through grassy reserves with all sorts of terrain; lots of grass with large shards of bark and fallen branches and all sorts of things and my pram has survived it all.
I really love this pram and it was the best decision I've made! It's going to adapt to our changing family for many years to come and I couldn't be happier.
