Have used/ purchased Sensodyne Toothpaste for years. In the past few months the product has been less than useful. It has become extremely watery and… Read more

is no longer the product it once was. I have purchased 3 tubes all from different stores, all the same, obviously it is being watered down to create more profits. Typical

Highly Allergic – I started using Sensodyne Rapid and within 48 hours had extremely dry lips. They then swelled like two sausages and were very painful. I ended up at the doctors and was prescribed antibiotics. DO NOT USE.

The best toothpaste I've ever used! – I started using Sensodyne Daily Care & Whitening about 1 year ago & have never looked back! It may be more costly than most other toothpastes but if… Read more

used sparingly when brushing teeth twice daily, I found that my teeth became far less sensitive almost immediately! A great product!

Tongue candida – This mouthwash altered the pH of my tongue, causing my tongue to grow a thick layer of white 'carpet' on it. (I'm now treating the tongue issue with… Read more

prescription lozenges).

I also dislike the taste and 'slimy texture' of this mouthwash. It leaves a gross residue and sugary taste in the mouth.

This toothpaste literally saved my teeth – Yes it costs twice as much as most other toothpaste but without it I would probably be wearing dentures at the age of 40 due to drinking too much… Read more

fizzy drink!

I drank (and still drink) far too much diet coke and the effects over 10 years were catastrophic on my teeth. In about 2010 due to 'acid erosion' it had got to the point that my teeth were ultra sensitive, translucent at the top, felt bendy/soft and I was in near constant pain. It had gotten so bad that my dentist at the time was talking implants or dentures despite me only being 30. He said there was no way to repair the enamel - once it was this bad he said that it was impossible to fix!

In desperation, after seeing a Sensodyne Pronamel advert on tv (now it is just called Pronamel) claiming to be able to restore damaged/lost enamel due to 'acid erosion', I tried it despite being extremely sceptical. I am not really into 'miracle cures' but I was in a lot of pain, I had little to lose and at the time I couldn't afford to undertake the dental work that my dentist said I needed (I couldn't even get a big enough loan).

After I started using Pronamel I noticed a slight but definite improvement within a couple of weeks and I have been using Sensodyne's Pronamel range in one form or another ever since (2010)! My teeth are no longer soft, translucent and they are no longer giving me any pain at all. I can even eat hard, hot, cold and/or chewy food and my (new) dentist says I do not need ANY work other than routine scraping/oral hygienist! Yes, it took a few years to get back to that state but was probably not helped by my failure to quit my Diet Coke habit!

These days I drink more tea and coffee but still occasionally fall back into bad habits and drink too much Diet Coke so I switched to 'Pronamel Gentle Whitening' which seems to be maintaining my enamel and limiting the discolouration to light beige rather than dark brown!

Improves tooth pain but – Twice-daily use ensures my severe tooth pain is improved. If I use ordinary toothpaste more than once the pain reppears. It does the job, however after a couple of weeks my gums and inside of my lips feel sore, swollen and skin peeling.
