Best paint – I have painted cars, trucks, trailers, bikes and random items with killrust. It takes a while to dry but the results are amazing. Cars I painted 10… Read more

years ago still shine. I love that I don't need to undercoat / prime unless it's bear metal. This stuff sticks to everything and anything for years.

Mould Grew within a month – Not mould resistant at all. Mould Grew within a month, and after 4 months the coat was gone in traffic areas. Rubbish, I will never use water-based again.

Never again – Aqua trim gloss. Goes on like milk, thin and watery with little coverage. Three coats is still not enough. Dries so quickly it's almost impossible to lay off without leaving brush strokes. Doesn't level itself. Not impressed

This has to be the worst paint ever – I have been a painter for 10 years and can honestly say this is the worst paint I have ever used by a country mile would not recommend using this paint will eat your profits and is near impossible to get to dry evenly.

the imperfections. I recall Solver being the best but found it unavailable. Wattyl and Solver being the same, I decided to try the Wattyl brand, hoping it WAS the same as Solver , To my surprise I can report it IS very much the same, with its brilliant flat finish and camouflages many imperfections , I will use this without a doubt in the future.

enough coats (allowing to dry in between) to get the depth of colour you want. It can then be finished with a coat or two of polyurethane, or you can use Wattyl Scandinavian Teak Oil if you want a less shiny finish and/or are trying to preserve the patina on an older (repaired) timber piece. As an amateur woodworker I need all the help I can get and this product is fool proof. Comes in 200 ml tubes but you will have to go to a paint specialist because neither Bunnings nor Masters stock it. Water base means that it's easy clean-up too!
