Bought 2 years ago exactly from Harvey Norman to replace the large Silver Kenwood, (best mixer I have ever owned) fancy unit as it was too heavy for… Read more

me to remove from the cupboard. I kept all accessories that could be utilised with this one however I mostly make cakes, pastry, cheesecakes, puddings and some fancy breads. To date for the above it has worked as expected. Yesterday I cracked 5 eggs into the bowl then added 1 1/2 cups caster sugar and set the knob on 3 expecting the machine to beat the ingredients into a thick creamish mixture. As I have made this recipe, family one, for the last 65 years, yes I am ancient, I left the machine on the kitchen counter and imagine my surpise when it simply turned itself off after 5 minutes. I immediately thought ooppss! has it overheated? Nope the machine was still cold as a ..... ..... ... Checked that everything was attached and that it was not vibrating and yes and no. Waited 20 mins and turned to 3 again and it lasted 5 mins again. I am unable to do without a mixer ergo, what to do? shame as the weight, bowl size and attachments are great Is this normal? Has anyone else had this problem? I have the receipt from Harvey Norman and will try to get a better copy of the it as it has faded and is not copying properly

Only runs for 3 years – After 4years, Oil leakage from the machine and weird noice! It has 5yr warranty and we went to the store from where we bought. And they took it back… Read more

for repair and said they will return it in 6 weeks. Alert: 5yr warranty only for repair not for replacement with the new one! It's crap and trap!!

Other thing it has a plastic cover which is very delicate, always need to handle with care.

extremely annoying to line up and have fall on the floor every time you remove the mixer. The base isn't stable enough. It walks while mixing. Not impressed for the price.

Really disappointing – I have had this Kenwood Chef XL Sense for 6 months. On first use the top moved very slightly but the the machine worked well and was quiet. I did… Read more

not worry, but thought it slightly unusual. I have probably made around 20 loaves of bread with it, a few cakes and a Pavlova. In the last couple of months I noted that it was sounding squeaky and mixing seemed a bit of an effort at speed. It is now with Prestige Repairs Adelaide. Apparently what I described was not normal and replacements parts for it have been ordered! For a hardly used new machine, costing $529, to say that I am disappointed is an understatement. My first Kenwood lasted 20 years, the 2nd hand was virtually new and lasted 20 years, the third 2nd hand, 7 years. I treated myself to a brand new one this time. I am now without a mixer, awaiting a part and I am truly miffed. I feel that I have been sold a dud and that the Kenwood quality has slipped.

I would really like a machine to use while this is brand new machine is awaiting parts and this could be no time soon.

Machine is sturdy. I found following instructions difficult. Very heavy and won’t fit into cabinets. Perhaps not the best for elderly users. Show details

I love this mixer. It has a powerful 1000 watt motor, enough to blend anything, especially cake mixes, doughs and nuts. The machine is easy to… Read more

clean and the blades come off easily for cleaning, and, WATCH THE BLADES when washing too, THEY ARE SHARP!

I got this at Myer whilst on sale for $139, a Godsend considering what you are getting.

I love the accessories too, especially the lil' whisk and two blade sizes. Comes with a blending wand, metal puree and masher, metal whisk, 0.5L chopper, and an easy pour beaker! All dishwasher safe.

I highly recommend this product, especially for its pricetag.

Very good food processing and blender – Went to good guys to buy the model down from this food processor there was no stock available so I was offered this model at a heavily reduced price.… Read more

I could not be happier with the large feeding area that fits whole medium size potato’s for slicing or grating making potato bakes a cinch. The blender jug is great for making smoothies the only down side is there is no cup attachment for making smoothies for one. Lastly all components are dishwasher safe making clean up simple.

Instruction manual impossible to follow – I agree the Kenwood multipro go is great for chopping & slicing. But hell it takes ages to work out how it works. I searched every YouTube video,… Read more

looked at the pictures in the instructions manual and nearly gave up. Especially frustrating when the bowl can’t be removed, googled how to do it, tugged & twisted. Phew! Grated ingredients for Zucchini slice, chopped onion & bacon. Still haven’t worked out how to assemble all the parts. Why, oh why aren’t there any decent recipes? Some of the videos are so fast there seems little point to them. Other people have also commented asking “Where are the instructions?” The manual has weird little pictures of food that don’t make any sense.

Kenwood cooking chef mixer review: Don't buy it – ⭐️ (1/5) I bought the Kenwood Cooking Chef Mixer because I trust the Kenwood brand, and since this was their most expensive model, I thought it… Read more

would be the best. I was wrong.

From the start, the machine kept showing the E22 error, asking me to turn it off and on again. This happened repeatedly, wasting my time and ruining my food. I contacted customer service, and they told me to take it to the service center. After four weeks, they replaced parts, but the problem continued.

I requested a refund, but they refused, asking me to bring it back for another inspection. I even tested it in front of them with food, and they saw the error happen multiple times. I also emailed the company, attaching videos as proof of the malfunction, but despite this, their customer service completely ignored my emails and failed to respond.

Customer service not only refused to acknowledge the problem but also insisted the machine was in "perfect condition" and advised me to take it home. This is unacceptable.

Avoid this product! It’s a waste of money, and the customer service is terrible.

twice each week. Unlike the budget mixers, the units is all metal. Everything click into place easily but robustly. Noise levels are relatively low. I also like the compact design. The mixer doesn't take up much space and stows away neatly.

it.!!! It blends, it mashes and it mixes whatever ingredients i put in there. Be it for a cake or for my protein balls this attachment makes my life easier. It has power and speed to mince either oats or apricots or even prechopped dates. the only thing is the whole unit is heavy but if you want grunt you need weight not something that will bounce around your kitchen when your trying to blend or chop. I bought this attachment solely for my apricot or my mango or my biscoff protein balls. Does the job quickly and easily. Another important fact is that it has a strong large plastic bowl which is easy to take apart to clean. Another brilliant device for my kitchen.!!! Love it Kenwood and thank you !!!

Just like another review, we bought this to combine a blender and Food Processor. I found this tricky to assemble with the right parts before using.… Read more

You really need to read the instructions carefully. But maybe I'm a bit slow :-) Only used it twice so far. But dissapointed. Once to make a smoothy using the Plastic Blender. It did not blend it that well, I felt the blades are too small. Had to add more liquid than I would normally add in my old blender, to get the solids down to the blade. Second use was to finely grate a Beetroot. Well... the slicing and grating discs are honestly very disappointing and detract from the overall functionality of the machine. Large amounts of food are unprocessed by the grating disc, it misses large chunks that fall down the side of the disk into the bowl, what the ?? so then you have to pick through the grated and sliced stuff for chunks. By the time you’ve done that you could have just grated by hand. You don't have to be an engineer to realise the gap between the Disk and the the walls of the bowl are far to great, it just spins big chunks of the food past the Disk into the bowl. I guess having paid money for this we will persevere for a bit. I would advise caution if you're looking at one of these.

terrible design. How this got through from the design phase to the production phase and testing is a joke. The pulse section is next to the off section and is EASILY hit causing your contents to coat the kitchen. I would NOT buy this poorly designed mixer.

didn't need 2. What a mistake. The juicer is easy to use but the amount of juice spatter is horrendous. I had lemon juice spatter everywhere...on the bench tops, the windows, the overhead cupboards, the underneath cupboards, the cook top, the splashback and even on the floor. Everywhere within a one metre radius. I will never use this attachment again.

such a pain, but the reviews were good.

I suspect it's just too big for my needs. If you have a large family, or do loads of bake sales, it might work for you.

Howewer, You can only use the dough hook in the enormous bowl. Something I only found out at home. 1 loaf of Sourdough does not need an enormous bowl. Creaming butter and sugar for ordinary sized recipes was a nightmare even with the creaming tool as it did not scrape the full bowl.

I'd read of the difficulties getting the bowls attached/ detached and figured out the leverage to achieve this (entire unit under one arm, held to the body and twist the bowl), but short of clamping the unit to the bench, I wonder how other people manage.

And now, my main complaint, ridiculous pictogram instructions that cover multiple models and tell you nothing and leave your scratching your head about what it is trying to tell you. No recipes that might assist choosing they're correct bowl/beater. Nothing. Considering the financial outlay, I'm very disappointed.

Now I kind of want to give it back. And I'm just glad I hadn't got around to giving my Sunbeam away.

Mig welder I would have fixed it myself. Took it back and they gave me my $$ back.

The motor seems strong and was up to do any job, Kenwood needs to focus on Quality control and who supplies them their beater attachments, needs to be sacked.

I've been wanting to buy a Kenwood Chef but get a bit nervous to spend that sought of money when I see a small product of theirs like this hand-mixer is not that well made.
