the fan blades into the device, it is fairly easy to use. However, I'd say the clean was just adequate. The dust is not collected and held in the heads and I was left with clumps of dust balls on the bed! The outdoor fan clean was non-existent despite several passes. I think the curve on the fan blades is too much for the Blade Maid. I could insert the blades, but they were not cleaned at all. So if your fan blades are fairly flat, this device is ok. Nothing is as good as getting up and wiping the blades but this is better than doing nothing.

Not cheap, but well worth considering in particular if you already have some Ryobi 18+ batteries and a charger – Minor grumbles: * Although it shows three types of heads on the box, it says in fine print that two of them are optional extras ie it only comes with… Read more

the one green 'medium' brush. * This is also a 'skin only' tool, meaning you need to buy or already have a suitable battery and charger * Once the battery is installed, you cannot tell the battery charge. * Even with a small 2A battery, the scrubber weighs well over 1.5kg. Because of the size and weight, it is a bit awkward to use and might get tiring if you want to use it for an extended period. I suspect the version on a pole would be even harder to use, so I'm glad I got the hand held version even though it means I may need to use a ladder sometimes. * The brush spins a lot slower than I assumed it would, and there's no ability to change the speed.

The good: * It seems well made, and comes with a long warranty - 4 years standard, plus an extra 2 years making it 6 years if you register online. Being plastic it might not enjoy being dropped on hard surfaces, which no doubt would not be covered by the warranty, so I'd be careful about that. * It did a great job on the first task I used it on - cleaning the winter dirt buildup at the waterline of a fibreglass pool. Basically I sprayed in sections the sides with a (pool safe) cleaner, and applied the brush and moved slowly along. Took maybe fifteen minutes to clean the walls, and did a better job than an hour done manually with a brush. * It appears to be pretty efficient with power usage - after using it in the pool, the 2.0A battery was still showing a full charge.

I haven't used it on anything else yet, but can see it being useful in the bathroom. I'd probably get the optional softer head or microfibre kit though to do the glass as the medium head might risk scratching glass.

As an aside - Having used similar housings for cameras etc, I'd recommend ensuring that the rubber grommet around the battery casing is totally clean to reduce the risk of water getting in. Do carefully wash the brush with clean water after use, in particular if used around liquid with chemicals in it such as a pool, and - if at all possible - allow it to dry completely before opening the battery case. Note that it is IPX7 rated, meaning it "Withstands incidental exposure to water of up to 1 meter for up to 30 minutes" and is suitable for "splashes, rain or snow, showering" - so even though it would likely survive, I'd be cautious about submerging it in the pool.

Safe way to clean your chimney – I was wanting to buy a chimney brush that I can push up from the bottom of the chimney rather than the previous method of using a long ladder,… Read more

dropping a brush down and using a rope to pull up and down. Very dangerous if I should fall 4 plus metres onto concrete path. I looked on line but all “imported” ones looked too flimsy and poorly described. “Bush Bee” sell kits with different size brushes and different lengths of rods. The brush is a very stiff “ plastic” bristle type than was flexible enough to go past the air baffle near the bottom of the chimney. Kit comes with a wooden handle that fits the brush. The “rods” are approximately one metre long and made of heavy twisted wire with the male and female fittings swaged on. I attached one rod and thrust it up and down to clean the first metre, added another rod and did the next metre. I dislodged plenty of soot and absolutely no chance of falling. I also could do it unaided whereas in previous method, my wife had to hold the ladder whilst I ascended and descended, as well as, pull the rope down, whilst I pulled it up. Whole kit looks like it will last 20 years plus.

Joseph bathroom set and I bought one with a light blue base and one with a grey base, for 2 different bathrooms.

There isn't much to it. A solid sleek white base with colour coded base, and a toilet wand which has the silicone at the base in the colour of choice and a solid white plastic handle.

No negatives. It cleans as intended and has the flexible head. It does not flick water around like the traditional nylon stick brushes. Very civilised.

4, mainly use this to cleaning sinks and pop-up wastes (2-3/week), grout in showers (bimonthly)

1) The brush bristles are tough and on the harder end, but not so hard that it scratch delicate surfaces and materials. The outer bristles are splayed at a nice angle that covers a larger than expected surface area. Together, this means you'll be using less force and time to clean the same surface. 2) Handle: there is a slight bend (and not just a regular "straight" brush) making it so ergonomic and effortless to slide on surfaces. Really good angle, really well done to the design team here. 3) Suction cup works well. The rubber is sturdy and doesn't feel flimsy that may break down. It's also elegant designed and streamlined with the handle, adding to a very aesthetic appearance. I have enough sink space to place it in the sink which is stuck on the side. This means I can leave it there to dry off reducing the chances of mould build-up. 4) Colour choice of black is very contemporary with my bathroom. Not a usual colour that I usually choose, but it fits well with my decor.

For the price, it's a no-brainer must-have cleaning tool for my home. I will buy another few a spares. recommend.

is amazing how dirty the water is after mopping. The high gloss tile (and matt tiles) floors are left streak free which is a major bonus. Used it with the Vileda bucket. After using cotton mops, squeeze mops and flat microfibre mops this was very impressive. Flat microfibre mops are pretty darn good too but this type is much easier to rinse and wring during use. Gets into corners, cleans well, doesn't have any sharp bit to scratch skirting boards etc. Not sure if it was the floor cleaner used with it but the finish is streak free. Nothing so far. Make sure you buy the handle that can be extended to suit your height. There's nothing worse than using a handle that is too short.

This brush does the job - I wish the lid would stay on, though! – I don't know why it should be so hard to find a decent palm brush for washing the dishes! The ones from Bunnings are utter rubbish, and this Sabco… Read more

brush is certainly much better quality. It would be perfect if the lid stayed on properly, but unfortunately it is only secured by a quarter-turn twist lock, and even then is a bit loose. This means it has a tendency to pop off when you're using it, and for the detergent to leak out if it is left on its side.

It's still the best I could find so far out of Bunnings, Big W, etc.

If anyone has a better suggestion, I'd love to hear it. Works well Lid doesn't stay on properly

High reaching, cobweb sweeping, pest eliminating bliss; with a healthy 1.75m reach, this dome shaped swivel cobweb broom aces indoor and outdoor… Read more

cleaning, saving you ladders, stools and over reaching. The contours allow the 5 position swivel head to tenaciously tackle cobwebs, insects, dust and dirt in high (or low) reaching places such as fan blades or skirting; it even can prise insects from ceilings. Don't just take my word for it; check out the videos for proof. The negatives? The dirt trapping bristles can be hard to clean. Insect marks will sometimes be left due to its bristle force. Eventually, bristles towards the center will break down if pushed hard, so you would be advise to buy a spare. Build quality is a concern, as the previous one I owned had a partly spilt handle near the top, making the blue click lock hard to stick in place. The head also eventually fell off after lengthy and much valued use, so go easy on the old tiger. In spite of all these issues, the pros outweigh the cons due to the effectiveness, which is why I bought another. A genuine asset to your cleaning arsenal for home or business, as dealing with insects on skirting and cobwebs is very much part of daily life here in Australia.

Note: if buying from Bunnings... Follow the link provided in the description and when you select a store, it will tell you what Aisle and Bay the product is in.

a large solution tank so it well suited to cleaning larger domestic areas. I can do a clean on a single tank compared to around 8-10 refills with the Tineco. The cleaning head is very bulky so it can't get into narrow areas and twisting or turning the machine will leave puddles behind. So it is well suited to large areas with few obstructions. I have kept my little Tineco S9 to clean smaller areas. In terms of capacity and ability to clean it is better than any of the domestic machines that I have tested. It does an excellent job of removing dirt from the floor but a poor job of drying the floor leaving a trail of water on each end of the brush. I have to do the floor twice, the second time without water, and this leaves the floor clean and dry. Note that this issue doesn't exist with the blue (carpets) and black brushes which both pickup almost all of the water used. The vacuum accessory is a waste of time and poor design leads to a loss of suction through the brush. I have thrown mine away and blocked the hole. I have reported these issues to Nilfisk and can't get them to confirm whether my issues are a design issue or a machine fault. The local sales agent and the service agent have both inspected the machine and can confirm that my issues are real but I can't get a response from Nilfisk. Apart from these issues build quality and design are OK but not what we used to expect from European appliances.
