After making two purchases back in 2021, I recently discovered I had been charged $59.95 annually for a “membership” I was completely unaware of. These charges continued for several years without my knowledge.
I searched thoroughly through my emails (including spam and archived folders) and could not locate any membership confirmation, renewal notice, or receipt relating to these charges.
When I raised this with the business, it took over two weeks and extensive back-and-forth communication to have most of the charges refunded. The process was time-consuming and stressful, and required persistence on my part to resolve.
While the majority of the money was eventually returned, there was no acknowledgement or apology for the inconvenience caused.
I would recommend anyone who has purchased from this business to review their accounts carefully and ensure they are aware of any ongoing subscriptions.
This experience has left me very disappointed.

I drink Ancient Tea Tree Yunnan Black Tea (Dianhong) in the morning to feel awaken and full of energy. It's a good option of high level caffeine tea with pleasant aftertaste.

When we followed up with their team regarding this issue, we were simply informed that a mistake had been made. We are truly disappointed with the level of service provided, as one of the key reasons we selected this company for our Christmas hampers was their ability to supply custom-printed boxes.

contacted austral herbs and they told me their batch of cumin is fine and they refused to refund me my money. They had zero care about the fact that I paid for a product that I cannot use. They were happy to rip me right off. I lodged a complaint with the department of fair trading and informed Austral herbs of the complaint. They then issued the refund the next day. Do not purchase from Austral herbs unless you are willing to contact the department of fair trading if you receive a rancid off product. Otherwise you will not get your money back. Extremely stingy unethical business.

Excellent food cooked fresh with quality ingredients. The restaurant is busy and so you may have to wait, but the wait is worth it. We enjoyed our 16 takeaway dishes today.

The service was very friendly, giving us time to go over the substantial menu. Drink orders were taken early and bought out in a timely maner. Entree’s and mains were spaced perfectly. As for the mains and I can only speak for mine, the flavors were amazing. The servings looked a little on the small side but even as a hungry guy, I battled to get through the meal. 5 star review from me and friends and will definately be going back to try other options on the menu. Presentation was excellent and you could not help but feel you were a welcome guest. The food did not disappoint. Each person at our table (4) were very happy with their meal. Vegetarian and Gluten Free customers. They also remembered our four birthdays so each had Happy Birthday on their dessert plate. We did not raise the hygiene concern in person because it created discomfort at the time, and we chose to leave respectfully rather than create a scene in front of our child. Observing a staff member mopping and then immediately serving food naturally raised concerns for us. It was an observation, not an accusation.
Finishing the food does not remove a customer’s right to comment on service, ambience, or overall experience. A review reflects the entire dining experience — not just whether plates were emptied.
Regarding the comment that staff were “not mopping in between your legs,” that wording is unnecessary and inappropriate in a public response to customers. Regardless of the situation, such phrasing is disrespectful and not how professional hospitality businesses communicate with guests.
Our feedback about ambience was about creating a neutral and welcoming environment for all guests — not about culture or language. Australia is proudly multicultural, and raising a concern about volume and atmosphere should not be interpreted as racism.
We did not insult anyone in our review. We simply shared how we felt as paying customers.

The taste was really nice, as good as the original Singapore produced. It looks very hygienic too as each individual bakwa was wrapped and vaccumed very well. However, when I keep it for a bit over a month, on top of the jerky (inside the plastic) appears white stuff sticking to the meat, despite it has been vacuumed packed. The most probable reason is the way it was produced was not hygienic, that the jerky was contaminated with fungal spores in the air before they are being vaccumed packed. Please look after your QC Bakwa King, or you will lose your business.

server and asked for a plate for my daughter. I was told they only have bowls as share plates, these bowls are slightly bigger than their dipping sauce bowls. When I explained that I prefer a plate because the rice would fall out of the tiny bowls, the server said sorry No. Their plates are only used for serving dishes. Then she walked away. In the end I moved the some of the entrees in one plate and used that for my daughter. I was extremely disappointed in the server who lacked any basic understanding to a simple customer request. I was polite when I asked and was genuinely shocked with the response. I was asking for a plate while dining in a restaurant!
