pleasantly surprised. It does the job well, my only complaint is that 8kg front loader does not equate to my 7kg Top loader. I think I should have bought the 10kg version front loader to get near the same capacity as a 7kg top loader. Only had this thing for a couple of days, but happy with the purchase so far. Easy menu to navigate, machine is fairly quiet. Standard wash cycles are a little longer, but short ones are available. I would recommend

valve and a noise coming from this unit that'll wake the dead. When the tech arrived error messages were showing up left, right and centre. On the first time it came back from warranty and I still haven't received a responce on what was wrong with it. Good one Electrolux, way to go guys. Two months later, the same problem. Electrolux who handle Westinghouse are as useless as and Westinghouse should reveiw thier service contract with Electrolux. A company that cannot even tell you when to expect the technician or when pick up will be. anytime within 8 hours is a poor excuse. They'll keep you waiting all day. I asked them to call an hour before pick up or before the tech arrives twice and twice, completley ignored my instructions. Going by these reveiws, I would not waste my time with Westinghouse ever again which once was a great brand / product. Electrolux, pull your heads in.

Is pre- programmed- NO free selection of programs - example cannot have fast spin on short cycle 3. It's old fashioned central agitator is too big for tub- and tangles clothes 4. It's far worse than the older models that allowed free selection of water level/ spin speed/ wash mode- This is a prime example of modern technology destroying what was not broken

minutes out of its 60 minutes. It spends more time spinning and even it's wash rinse it's only 1 minute after it has fully filled up the tub with water. Such a waste. If you change the wash programs it will empty out all the water and start again, such a waste of water. I have no idea why anyone would give this washing machine over a 1 star, it's terrible, especially paying over $1k for it.

1min - Rinse washing agitation with full water in tub (yes one minute of rinse water agitation before it just drains the water, absolute waste)

years) but have never had one as infuriating as The Westinghouse Easy Care 300. I never thought to look to see that it only takes in cold water. Who would have even thought of that? We have solar hot water but now have to pay to heat water if desired. The length of times of some of the cycles are st>pid long including rinsing with a spin dry. The only redeeming feature is the 15 minute wash that I put my bath mats in as our little dog pees on them. However the worst feature is the unpredictable, temperamental on off place. Sorry, I wrote button but it is just a marking on the front. Nothing, but nothing helps to start this useless machine. I cannot wait for the day I get rid of it but rest assured Westinghouse will not be on my shopping list. Half a star and that is for the 15 min wash.

was completely dead. Annoying, but fine; these things happen. What shouldn’t happen is the nightmare warranty process that followed.

Six weeks later, I’m still stuck in the claims process. Westinghouse has been hopeless. I’ve now been told the replacement machine has an ETA of three more months. Seriously?

So after waiting six weeks already, they expect me to wait another three months. Their alternative is a store credit at the original retailer — which is a three‑hour round trip for us in rural WA. On top of that, the exact same machine is now $142 more expensive, meaning I’d have to pay extra just to replace their faulty product. And apparently they “can’t” authorise a refund.

Shame on you, Westinghouse. Poor service, poor accountability, and no ownership of your dud machine.
