I have had a 90-liter dual zone fridge for about 2 years now and on the last 40-degree day it just stopped working all was fine until then. I have tried to restart and reset the fridge nothing seems to work. I am not sure if it is worth getting fixed as it may cost more than a new one. I wonder if anyone has had the same problem and how much it cost them to fix. Thankyou

What price is it how good are they
Hi Paul, Thank you for the question, I can advise that our current 90L Stayzcool is $599 today down from their usual $849, in regards to how good the unit is I cant say without bias on that front, as I've had one of our Stayzcool units since their launch in '21 personally not having it miss a beat and work for the team on top of that too, so pinch of salt on that front.

Hard to say how good any brand of fridge is these days I've had quite a few over the past 30yrs all you can do is search reviews on different sites and pick something that seems to get more consistent positive results that suits your needs and see how it goes don't dwell on it for too long it will make the choice harder. Even the most expensive brands have failures It's usually the quality of the electrical components used these days that fail. It's unfortunate that companies spend time designing and making good looking fridges only to fit inferior electrical components that let them down within the warranty period. Sorry I can't give a more positive answer hopefully you get something that serves you for a lot of yrs.
I have a kings 90l dual zone fridge freezer. Plugged in to get cold. But unit powers up but doesn't get cold. Fan is spinning and compressors is going. Doesn't seem to have gas leak. What possible issue am I looking for
Hi Pete, Thank you for the question, could be a few things as it's hard to say exactly without being able to go over the unit itself, sometimes it can be a power actuation issue, depending on whether it occurs on either 12v, 240v or both, the other can be that the temp sensor may have shifted from the wall.

I don't understand why people cannot contact their customer service line I did and found them effective
Is there a fuse on the 90l stayzcool fridge? My fridge is not turning on and I wanted to check the fuse.
Is it on AC or DC AC it's faulty check warranty with customer service on DC check input plug they are poor connection
No power on either

I have a 90 ltr fridge freezer that came with second hand van we purchased the unit is not cooling at all and is actually going up in temperature when connected to 240v

Hi, we purchased our 90lt kings fridge freezer a week ago and it just turned off and won't turn back on. I'm freaking out now as we go camping in less that 12hours and no spare time for this!

I've had my 90L dual zone set to -18 on the large side & 0 on the small side, connected to 240 power and it's showing an E3 error. The vents are clean and have space for ventilation around them. I've reset the board & let it rest and tried turning one side (fridge) off. The error is still showing. What should I try next?

I have a kings 90lt fridge freezer that is going down to -18 on large side and is at 15 on small side and won’t cool. It’s only 7 months old and been used twice. Can I fix this or will I need to replace it as it’s not even 12 months old?

Hi Mick, Thank you for the question, this can at times be caused by the board needing a reset, we would advise to have the item totally unplugged, then while you have done so hold the power button for 15 seconds and allow it to rest for half an hour.
Should this not fix the issue it would require assessment to find the specific issue causing the temperature mismatch that we would be able to assist with from there.
My 90L duelzone is showing up the E1 error code for low voltage despite the battery reading an output of 11.4 volts and the fridge is set to the lowest voltage safety setting. I have the Kings 138Ah deep cycle battery and a kings 200watt folding solar blanket with a kings mppt controller. Due to the error code shutting down the compressor and restarting it the set temp for the fridge is at 2⁰ but it is reading 10⁰ and doesn't seem to be cooling the fridge. I'm at a loss as to why the fridge is doing this???
If it’s at 11.4 volts it would drop below the min volts when the compressor kicks in hence why the E1 code.
Why is my fridge and freezer section gone from being cold to set temperature to boiling hot on both sides all of a sudden

We have a kings 90ltr fridge freezer plugged into 240volt and it was running cold for the first few hours now it started beeping and the temp has gone up to 10 degrees one side 9 degrees the other side we don't use it often and I'm pretty upset as we have it half full of food

I have a 90ltr dual zone fridge/freezer just used it as a backup for a freezer at home that died we purchased this one after they lost our original one that was sent back for warranty and they sent us a 15ltr console fridge and tried to hold me to ransom that they wouldn't give us a credit for the lost one mind you it was around 4 to 6 weeks after they received it until I sent the other one back I actually made numerous calls and told them I had already been to consumer affairs they sent me a credit for my fridge and now the new one has just died and I'm not sure how long the warranty is for I purchased this one in 2021

My husband and I were looking to buy but this doesn't give me the confidence to invest. Warranties are exactly that and shouldn't be disadvantaged to have to submit a claim that should be covered under warranty..sorry Kings you have lost my purchase
Bought a 90ltre dual zone January 2020. Worked perfectly up until week ago . Now all I have is the fan noise when plugged into power. Battery seems to be fully charged .( 138ah) Any idea what this could be and is it fixable without costing a fortune. I’m not very impressed that I only got 3 years out if this fridge / freezer given how much they cost .

Hi, I have purchased a second hand 90l dual zone fridge freezer a YCD90A and with the fridge on 12 or 240v the temperature will not go below 2 degrees, even when the temperature is set to -18. It doesn't matter if the fridge is filled or not, can I have any help on what this issue may be? Thanks Steve
Hey mate if you're plugging it in the wall at 240v and setting it to -18 and leaving it and it won't reach it at all I would say that's why they sold it to you. It sounds like a component issue. Not sure how you would go getting a warranty on it unless you have the original owners receipt of purchase. Whats the max minus temp you can get it too and hownlong does it take ???
Yeah probably, It won't go into minus unless I put frozen items in the fridge, it takes a long time and I'd say around 18 hours for the temp to get around 6 degrees with the fridge empty

Does this fridge have a max and eco setting. If it does try set to max. And putting frozen and refrigeratored stuff in will help also only one side will cool at a time so if both sides need chilling it will take twice as long. Hope this helps. Good luck.
